The Ultimate Droid 2.3.0 - All Devices - D1, INC, EVO 4G, Desire CDMA & GSM

I wish there was a way to keep it from syncing my apps but still be able to install a couple of my paid apps to do some testing. By battery is at 70 so I'll be flashing soon. I'm just worried that if it works on this one, the next release might give me issues.

There is a way. When you first flash the rom, tap each corner of the screen, starting with the upper left and move in a clockwise direction. This will bypass the little android guy/account setup. Go into setting/privacy and uncheck automatic restore. Then login in and download only the apps you want to. You can also use Titanium Backup to backup your apps and system data before flashing the new rom, then use said program to restore only the apps you want to.

And wow...I accidentally replaced the app drawer with another app and have no idea how to get it back. Haven't used ADW in many months. Care to help me out with this? Haha

EDIT: Downloaded LP. That's what I use anyway

I did that too. :) I am so used to dragging things down to the trash, not up. I too installed LP: its just better.

Since I am using Launcherpro, is there an easy way to remove the stock launcher for good? There is no ADW Launcher when I go into the apps directory using root explorer.

the extra sliders are like miui lock screen. as far as up and down, i hope, keeping asking BD to make one :) time will tell!

Really? That's great! Unfortunately, I can't use UD:/ But I love the ROMs that you guys put together. I wish I could use them.

If you like them, go into CyanogenMod settings -> input settings -> and check Phone and Messaging. Viola. CM nightlies have had this for a bit.

Well I already did it before I got to read that post. I just let it sync but it didn't even sync any of my downloaded apps. Just the paid ones so it worked out. Weird though. And I use TB but not always because sometimes it doesn't show the installed apps under downloads which kinda bugs me even though if you go to the app it says installed.

And to delete ADW, use RE to go to /system/app and ADW will be inside there. Click mount r/w and delete

EDIT: /system/app, not /system/media. That is for boot animations. Thanks, Tallica for noticing.

Yes, but they aren't like the MIUI ones. They are like the unlock and sound sliders which I don't care for all that much

I never claimed they were MIUI like, but they are UD like ...........

True. But UD uses the MIUI phone and messaging sliders rather than the stock ones

EDIT: I apologize if I came across as rude. I wasn't intending to by any means

I believe it's system/app and I think it's just named Launcher.apk

Ah, that's what I meant. I don't know why I said said /system/media haha. Thinking of boot animations here. Thank you for correcting me!

Well you can disable the overscroll and it might fix the issue since that is what causes it

Disabled overscroll, rebooted, and still the same problem. It didn't fix the 3D app drawer.

By the way, where's this green bar battery icon that people are talking about? This might help my battery percentage problem...

Sucks, but I'm off this Rom. It is very nice and speedy, but the incoming call screen to me is a good enough reason to go back to MIUI.

Ah, sorry man. I have the same problem with CM. I kinda like not having the 3D affect though. But I also like it quite a bit. And I have no idea. I looked in every UD setting multiple times and I could not find it anywhere. I use the Revolution round battery icon for my roms though so...
