[Theme] 928Droid Black Glass X for DROID 2 !!!

I'm on 2.2.20 deodexed w/R2 version applied.

Video - just made a 25s video and it will not play, or display an icon in Gallery...error is "File cannot be displayed or played."

Made two more right after, around 35s and 55s, and they were saved/played fine, gallery shows icon.

Had some issues w/pictures not showing an icon right away in the gallery, but others have reported the same/worse (lost pictures) in Motorola's support forum, so not a theme issue.

Tell ya a secret...if you remove or rename PNI-Moto.apk...(the "Print to Retail" app found in Gallery Menu>Share), one of the so called commerical Bloatware apps, you will have those issues....it is tied into MediaGallery.apk (Gallery) and it will punish you and mess with your head for deleting it.

PIN-moto.apk is untouched...still there.

It's untouched...still there.

Well, log that Tip into memory for future use. Found out by accident....

It will be interesting to see if when you guys get the real OTA 2.3.15 update, or whatever number it ends up being, if that is fixed. Hopefully if it is a well know issue in the M Forums it will be resolved.

Not looking good for r2315 release tonight, running out of steam. On east coast time and the all day/night rain has been dragging me down fast, and gotta be at the office in the morning. Sorry to dissapoint, you will have it tomorrow and hopefully the new D2 DeOdexEERR too.

Is the suggested upgrade from a 2.2 Deodexed 928 Theme to the 2315 one or something else? I wondered if I'll be able to keep all my apps etc. and upgrade to the new version.

Here you go...first 2315 TEST zip...DEODEXED ROMS ONLY!!!

EDIT: Link removed, see Test 2 link in Post#255 below.

Please check out everything you can, but pay close atttention to the previous issues.

Contacts opening from app drawer or shortcut.

Camera function, although this zip may not fix that, IF you have an improperly deodexed rom, but would still like feedback as is please, especially if you had it previously... the D2 DeOdexEERRR will/should fix that though (releasing after successful tests of Theme).

Also, the usual suspects, Market, Gallery, Brower...etc.

AND CRAP.. I just remembered forgot the "Settings>Accounts fix" DANG IT... check that just in case, but I bet it will fail. Will start uploading Test 2 in just a minute,, It takes a while to redo the zip and upload so you can wait it you like, be about 20-30 minutes for that one sorry!

Yes it SHOULD be fine right over 2.2.20, that is the plan.. BUT your feedback will be appreciated .

If the plain Theme version doesn't work (it should), the DeOdexEERR version will most certainly work as it replaces all files in system/app and system/framework, plus AutoDeletes any accidently leftover odex files. Special thanks to my wife for writing out the custom script for that (almost 200 lines worth to exactly target only certain files and leave the rest untouched).. She did it in an hour, would have taken me 2 days to type all that

Regarding your wife - seriously, she helps you?! Man, you have a keeper there. I can barely get my wife to understand why I care about themes and configuring my phone. Lucky guy...
