Regarding your wife - seriously, she helps you?! Man, you have a keeper there. I can barely get my wife to understand why I care about themes and configuring my phone. Lucky guy...

Heck yeah, and she loves her Droid 1 too!! We share alot of the same interests, including 4-wheeling on Sport (racing) Quads for week vacations at a time, helps me wrench on cars and build new products for our company... and still looks like Cindy Crawford's younger hotter sister OH yeah, I am a lucky dog!

Please check out everything you can, but pay close atttention to the previous issues.

Contacts opening from app drawer or shortcut.

Camera function, although this zip may not fix that, IF you have an improperly deodexed rom, but would still like feedback as is please, especially if you had it previously... the D2 DeOdexEERRR will/should fix that though (releasing after successful tests of Theme).

Also, the usual suspects, Market, Gallery, Brower...etc.

AND CRAP.. I just remembered forgot the "Settings>Accounts fix" DANG IT... check that just in case, but I bet it will fail. Will start uploading Test 2 in just a minute,, It takes a while to redo the zip and upload so you can wait it you like, be about 20-30 minutes for that one sorry!

I have downloaded and installing test 2 at the moment but wanted to let you know that with my current 2.2 DEODEX version I CAN open contacts from the app drawer so not sure what that problem is. and I am also not sure what problem with settings/accounts but will research earlier posts for that as well.

Well I got all the above with my wife except the writing code, interested in phones or computers, 4-wheeling and she doesn't like gaming either! She is pretty hot though!

Did a battery pull and rebooted and I got to the home screen this time but then did that half-reboot (not even sure what to call it)

Sam exact symptoms for me...farthest I've gotten so far is to my PIN lock before it reboots.

Anything you want me to try?

That's normal behavior, booting to CW after a battery pull, works that way all the time (or should) on the D2. You can just select reboot from CW.

That's what I did, but it didn't help. Going to try a data/cache wipe and see what happens.

Ya I tried a reboot from CW and didn't work so I restored previous 928. Man, I got excited for a split second when I saw the raised unlock bar that comes with 2315 I'm sure he will get it right though.

If some one could load the 2315 Leak and try it again it would help me narrow the focus of finding the issue.this would help to know if it is just a pure incompatibilty of a 2.2.20 system with 2.3.15 app and framework files.
