[Theme] 928Droid Black Glass X for DROID 2 !!!

Regarding the 2.4.0 leak and Swype:
I tried putting swype from the D2 2.2.20 release on, and it didn't work, tried a few older non-DRM versions of swype that worked on my D1 on any ROM I ever ran, but won't work either.
Haven't tried the swype.apk from 2.3.15 yet, not even sure if that is a different version of swype than what is included in 2.2.20...but so far, if you're a swype user/addict like me this ROM is unusable at the moment. I'm backing up and going back to my Black Glass themed 2.3.15 nandroid...MUST HAVE SWYPE!
I've gone back to my 2.3.15 Black Glass nandroid backup for now...didn't find anything new in 2.4.0 (other than R2D2 boot animation and wallpapers) aside from a fix for the batter manager FC when you click on the battery icon for usage statistics.
Man...Android without this theme is a sad, gray world.

Im with you man. Doesn't sound like any reason to go to 2.4.0. Although, Dave did say he was not working on 2315 anymore and would start working on 240 later today it sounded like. Need to find a way to get SWYPE to work if that is the case.

Nope...I have the same exact setup (same apps, same home screen setup/widgets) on 2.3.15 and have 189 used/90 free.
You're talking about the 2.3.15 or 2.4.0 update?

Did you wipe /System when you installed?

I did wipe data and cache but I didn't format system. It did screw up my superuser lol. Superuser was there but wouldn't work so I had to go through the commands to get it back
So you didn't make any other changes, like editing build.prop or anything, right? Just wiped data, cache, and system and the installed 2.4.0 and had your apps restored.

Oh crap....I totally mis-read your post...DOH - you said you did NOT wipe system.
Also got myself all looped around on what we were talking about, which was memory, not swype. Gotta take some medications and lie down...
BTW - What version of Android did you you install 2.4.0 over? 2.2.20 or 2.3.15?
And what version of swype do you have installed - Settings>Applications>Manage>All Apps - tap on Swype

I installed over 2.3.15
Roger that, I am running Launcher Pro, the bestest, coolest, mostest wonderfulest launcher made.
Red, does Launcher Pro change anything about the look of his theme?
