[Theme] 928Droid Black Glass X for DROID 2 !!!

Contact Picture Problem
I had my phone rooted, deodexed, and all that good jazz. I then installed the BlackGlass Deodexed theme. I have to say that the theme is awesome and I definitely want to continue using it. However, I'm having one major problem.
Originally, my contact photos were synced with facebook. It was like that before I applied the theme, and after I applied the theme they were synced as well. However, I did a factory reset to just start over fresh with the theme and get the phone finally set up just how I want it. After doing so, I added my facebook account under the Accounts tab, and it went on to say that facebook would be the primary source for contact photos. With that being said, no photos are showing up in my contact list.
How do I fix this problem. Thanks.

it the DX version, but should work fine on the D2 (let me know if it doesn;t), I will get the "Droid X" logos changed to "Droid 2" hopefully later tonight and depending on your feedback.. would like to make any needed changes all at one time.
Since you are a Swyper , I would appreciate the feedback...before I incorporate into the main Theme files.
Oh, feed back on the tranparency of the Word Prediction background over various apps is also appreciated... I was unsure when I tested if I went too far and need some outside feedback.
I figured out how to fix it. It's called PATIENCE, lol.
That deal with Facebook "Being the Source of Contact pics" bugs me, It says the same thing when I add my Twitter app...for one thing I want to make that choice, and there should be an option...BUT, regardless.. I don't think it really means anything because all Contact pics I have ever had come from my Google account, not Twitter.
I am not a Facebook user so I haven't added a Facbook account thru the "Blur Accounts", I do use the separate Facebook APP (with my wife's account) for testing it for proper function etc.
I gues what I am getting at is some clarification before I dive in looking for a problem that may or may not exist, due to confussion over how the system is actually working vs how it tells us it is.
Question #1: Are you 100% sure the Contact pics you had before came from your Facebook account?
Question #2: Were these Contact pics for just the Facebook Contacts in your Contacts app, or were the Contact Pic just for the PHONE and/orE-mail Contacts? Or Both (if both, were those Contacts in your Phone "accounts" first?)
Question #3: Did you sign back in with your Google account successfully after the Data Reset?? (BTW, it is a great habit after making a lot of chances to do that, kudos to you)
Question #4: From Home any Screen Menu>Settings>Accounts> Tap Google Icon. Is Sync Contacts (and Sync Calendar) Checked?
If not check them and give it time to sync...then recheck the Contact pics after a few minutes.
Question #5: If they are checked what was the last sync date/time? If it is older than the time you did the reset, then press Menu>Sync Now...and see if the blue sync Icons appear beside the checked boxes and "spin" and is there a matcing sync Icon in the stus bar?
Queston #6: Are you using the Standalone Facebook (non-Blur) app? If so, are you logged in to it and can see the FB Contact profile pics OK in it?
Let me know that stuff and will go from there.

Answer #1: Yes, I'm sure my Contact Photos came from Facebook. I had a few that I added manually from pictures in my gallery, and those ones were synced automatically once I added my Gmail account.
Answer #2: I only use the Contact list associated with the phone. I don't like the Contacts App as it has all my Twitter contacts in there as well, and last I checked, I don't need LeBron James in my every day concat list, lol.
Answer #3: Yes, I signed back in with all 3 of Gmail Accuonts before I added Facebook and Twitter. When theming my phone, I always add do the factory reset, add the GMail Accounts First, then add my Social Networking Accounts. I figured that seems like the most logical sequence, especially in terms of importance and syncing.
Answer #4: All of my Gmail Account are set-up to sync.
Answer #5: I went ahead and hit sync now just for the hell of it. Figured it couldn't hurt. However, nothing happened.
Answer #6: I'm using the Standalone App and the Blur-Facebook. As far as I can tell, you can only access the Standalone App from the menu, which is totally fine with me as the only reasons I added the Blur-Facebook Account were the Social Networking Widget and to have the photos synced with my Contacts (I couldn't find an option for it within the Standalone App).
As of now, about half of my Contact Photos have synced with their Facebook Photos, but the others have still yet to come through. I'm hoping that by the end of the night they will all be in, unless there is something else that you might suggest.
Also, I noticed you were talking about a Swype keyboard being added to the theme. That is my one major complaint as of now, as I have become a Swype user over the last couple of months. That would be my one suggestion as to how to improve your theme. Other than that, I haven't found a flow as of yet. Thanks for all of the work!

Hmm, not working for me. Looks nice though
When I swype nothing shows up in message box (tried K-9 Mail, GMAIL and Handcent msging). When I tap on it characters appear but not when I swype. This was patched on the 2315 test2 you had up shortly the other day.

I just noticed that my Social Networking Widgets (I have one set up for Facebook updates and another for Twitter updates [I like to keep them separate]) are also not syncing the photos with the contact. The ones that managed to sync with my Contacts before I set up the widgets are also showing within the widget, but the others are displaying no photos. Also, my widget for Twitter is displaying no contacts.
Is it possible that I have downloaded a theme without all of the patches? Or that I'm running a system version that isn't completely compatible? I'm currently running 2.2.20. I've noticed things about a 2.3.15 and a 2.4 so I wanted to make sure that that is not the issue.
If so, what .zip files would I need to get: 1) the correct system, and 2) the correct theme version? Thanks in advance.

I am starting to think that Patience may be the key in regards to my issues (at least the Contact Photos syncing with Facebook). I just noticed that a few more of my contacts have synced with their Facebook Photos, so we'll see if the matter corrects itself.
I am interested in running the latest system and theme versions, as long as there is at least some minor improvements within each, so any advice on how to go about doing so would be great. Thanks.

Sometimes we have to factor in that issues we are having are unrelated to the phone, and more so on all he outside connectiosn required. This all could be because of a slowdown on servers on the internet.
Funny, I remember a few times when Google Weather servers started flaking out and everyone with Beautiful Widgets was screaming ar Tama (the dev) that his app was either broken, no good, and some even used the "s" word to describe it. All along it was almighty Google's fault.
Give it some time and let's see what happens.
Concerning new versions, you will see it here in this thread first as well as occasional test versions.
Don't expect too much from me as far as updates until next week, I have to travel 5 states away (driving) starting tomorrow afternoon to a Car Show my Company has sponsored for the past 14 years... gonna have to put 100% of my time and focus into that until Monday. Will check in during the boring times while away...if there are any

Awww...see that Patch already tried/posted. I'll add my results as well, but I'm expecting likely the same as him, as we have the same setup - 2.3.15 w/2.3.15 test2 theme over it.
Patch - did you get the "this version of swype won't work on your phone" (I'm mangling the wording) message?
