- Go back to stock 2.2 ROM rooted
- Deodex (most people use xUltimate)

- Read that thread if you have problems

And thanks, i was actually referring to myself as running an odexed rom. can't remember that far back, you know the 2.40 days and all.
I am really hoping we can get this theme on 2.4.5 or his frf91 build.

What is the best way to get this to work on the Droid 2 Fission v1.1 ROM? I love vanilla and BGX. So is their a way to have both? Perhaps using the Droid 1 BGX with the Droid 2 BGX in some way?

How big should the odexed zip file be? I downloaded it from the 928 site...looks like it's 1.4MB, but when i try to apply the update.zip file in recovery I'm getting an error. When I went back to download a fresh copy, said it was 53MB???
Update: Looks like either way, it downloads a file that's approx. 1.5MB. When I move it to the root of the sd card and try to apply the update.zip through recovery, it gives me "can't apply update.zip (bad)".

You need to move the theme to the root of your SD Card, then you won't install threw Update.zip, you'll need to "Install zip from SD Card" then select the theme to install.
I decided to come back tonight and try the download again...it is 53MB...something must've been wrong with the download earlier. I ended up changing the file name to update, but glad to hear I can simply search for the original. I'm now running the theme and it looks great. Super easy process.

This may have been touched on and I didn't find it but I just loaded the deodex theme over stock ROM on my D2 and everything looks great except the time in status bar is still black (so pretty much not visible) how do I fix that?

You were right, I thought I was deodexed but I wasn't so I installed the Odex d2 theme, looks better (the time is still black but there is a gray box around it) but still not white text color like in the screen shots.
