You know what would be even cooler.... just throwing this out there~ have the pull down say Crystal2 for the D2's and a boot animation with a 2 instead of X :)dancedroid

To install for LibertyROM simply use your liberty toolbox... need to rename bootanimation.zip

ADB
- Install the android SDK
- Open Command Prompt
- Locate the SDK tools folder where ADB is located (example: <cd c:\android-sdk-windows\tools>)
- Now enter the following code in Command Prompt
adb remount
adb push c:\temp\CrystalX******.zip /data/local/bootanimation.zip
adb reboot
Terminal Emulator
- Connect your phone to your computer via USB
- Copy the downloaded file to your sdcard
- Disconnect phone from computer
- Open Terminal Emulator on your phone and enter the code below (press enter after every line)
su
cp /sdcard/CrystalX******.zip /data/local/bootanimation.zip
reboot
Root Explorer
- Connect your phone to your computer via USB
- Rename the downloaded file to 'bootanimation.zip' and copy to your sdcard
- Disconnect phone from computer
- Open 'Root Explorer'
- Copy/Paste the /sdcard/bootanimation.zip to /data/local/ (make sure it's read/write)
- Reboot
 
I just locate it in File Manager on my phone and rename it as you said bootanimation.zip then move it to the root of SD and it installed ok from Liberty Toolbox .
 
This boot animation is freaking AWESOME! Beats anything I've seen before! Great job Big!

FYI, I installed via the Liberty Toolbox. Downloaded the file, changed the name to bootanimation.zip, then used the toolbox option to change the animation. I also changed the boot logo to the blue M. Great stuff!
 
I downloaded the new boot but have no idea how to get it set. Can someone tell me how to do it.
