I tell you what, I will let you know when I sign up for a track day at Road Atlanta this spring. It is my favorite track, it is awesome.
Or, we could all meet up for a ride up to the North GA Mtns? We typically go up to Bllod Mountain, Helen, Suches, Haiwasee, etc...
I run the same loop on the SuperHawk. I've worked at Lawrenceville Honda-Yamaha; ProLine; Motions; and a few other shops, too. And yes, I know Sean and raced with Opie a few times.
Sucker is fast, too
My pics are on the previous page, btw.
Yeah, Opie is crazy fast. He often races his 750 in the 1000 class and wins a lot. LOL
When were you at Lawrenceville Honda? I bought 4 streetbikes and a dirtbike there since 2005. I usually dealt with Chris(CR).
I will check out your pics. I love the Superhawk, very solid bike. I prefer Vtwins for the street. On the track the inline 4 comes into it's own, but for street riding there is no substitute for torque.
I had the Ducshop throw in a Microtec ECU and tune the bike for the exhaust and airbox mods, and we are putting down 148hp at the rear wheel, and I just had the bike weighed, and fully fueled it is a couple pounds lighter than an R6. Needless to say, it is.... lively. LOl
Actually, it is a bit of a handful, but having the power characterstics of a twin in a sportbike just can't be beat. Forget about what gear you are in, just give it gas and hang on. Wheelies on demand.
I rode a friend's Superhawk down around Pine Mountain and it was a blast. I almost got one, but went with the F4i because I didn't want to mess with carbs. If it had been fuel injected I would have gotten it.
