Ultimate Droid Froyo eXtreme 8.0.0 - Droid

Can someone explain how the led notifications settings work? Do I have to turn off the notifications from the actual app in order to make it work? I tried with Gmail, and I'm not getting LED at all...

It's crazy how you think BD has done it all and then he comes out with 8.0 haha...

+1 I can't get the blinking notification for Gmail to work

Ok well I think I may have figured this out, kinda. It seems not all colors "work" on my phone. I put Gmail as Cyan, G-Talk as Green, K-9 as Red, and Google Voice as Magenta and it works fine. The weird thing is "white" works on my wife's phone, but doesn't work on mine. And Light Blue and Yellow look like Cyan and Orange respectively. Anyone know why the white LED doesn't work on mine and does your Light Blue and Yellow look just like Cyan and Orange?

Yeah, tried different colors and got it to work. White will not work on my D1 either.

I can't find this either???

Lars in rom manager try reflashing clockwork then sprecovery then clockwork then sprecovery.

Did this, no worky.

Any other ideas?

This is one of the many reasons why I quit using CW. It seemed to hijack my phone as well and not let me flash Sprecovery.

Another way that has been mention on DF's before, and has worked for me as well, is to flash an older version of CW from the CW panel then go back and flash sprecovery.

Good luck. As of now, youre missing out on a great rom!

Yah I remember hearing that way working too. Good luck lars :D

The .zip file needs to go on the root of your sd card, not in a folder. That is if I'm understanding you correctly.

OK I figured it was rom manager. After you get back up and running please just install sprecovery and flash it from there. Rom manager is jacking up so many droids...I just can't understand why anyone would use it. If you need help getting back up and running make sure to post in the rescue squad. Good luck! and be sure to report back when yur rockin UD 8.0 :D
