I can't install Stock Phone App.

I get a message that flashes something with android. process and it asks me to force close but then disappears quickly.

I did wipe data & cache three times before installing UD8. I also did fix permissions.

I wasn't able to install it either, same error message you mention....Not sure what going on with it.

K dumb question #2 for me..I'm slightly new to the custom rom world..

so Ultimate Droid 8.0 and Ultimate Droid froyo eXtreme are the same thing? Or are they slight variations of one another?

hi, i am a newbie to all of this and have a few questions.

this rom looks amazing. i am currently running the kaosfroyo v32 on my droid ERIS.

what is the difference between this rom and the kaosfroyo? also, will this rom work on the eris?

Not a stupid one if your new to the lingo. Ultimate Droid is the ROM name, eXtreme is the sub-title for the froyo ROM, and it is in version 8. So it can be called anyhting like that...

UD8, eXtreme8, UDeX8... ya know.

When you switch the apps out it does force close once, but should work fine afterwards. I am trying to look into a better way of doing it that would allow me to switch the phone app out while the os is up without having the force close but other than that one notice you should be fine.

Cool thanks. Yeah i've been rooted for a while, always ran stock rooted, on my first custom rom ever since this past weekend, i'm liking it a lot. And now i'm just searching for other popular custom roms. Not as familiar with this one since blackdroid just joined df again. Thanks! Oh and this is my 100th post..sweet...

im having issuses after install my gps will not find my location...its on and searching and wont find it... i ran into the same thing with petes .4 it will navigate but wont find current location to start navi

DolphinHD Browser works faster and smoother ...... try it out

Just put in 7.0, already an 8.0 wow. from the changelog it looks like only big diff from 7.0 is the FRG22D. Did the battery percentage error go away?

Okay.. found another issue with facebook. It will only refresh updates half of the time. I keep getting a error "cannot retrive updates, invalid api, try again later" the other half of the time it works fine. Very weird, but annoying.

Mojo uninstall it then reinstall it.............

That happened to me on another ROM

UD8 with Sapphire 125x1200lv kernel, setcpu running 125x550 profiles runing Awsome! Once again an awsome rom. Always snappier then the rest.
