Lars in rom manager try reflashing clockwork then sprecovery then clockwork then sprecovery.

Did this, no worky.

Any other ideas?

This is one of the many reasons why I quit using CW. It seemed to hijack my phone as well and not let me flash Sprecovery.

Another way that has been mention on DF's before, and has worked for me as well, is to flash an older version of CW from the CW panel then go back and flash sprecovery.

Good luck. As of now, youre missing out on a great rom!

This sucks!

When I try and install an older version, I keep getting an error message.

I think the only reason want SPR is so I can wipe the cache but not my data. Will CacheMate do the same thing?

HELP!

downloaded on laptop, then spun it over to my download folder on droid..i flashed 2.0.2.0 on rom mananger..i think that was problem..i should have used the latest but the older version has been lucky on everything else

The .zip file needs to go on the root of your sd card, not in a folder. That is if I'm understanding you correctly.

i just put it in my download folder on droid..then rom manager..install from sd..then just find the one i want..click away

its installed..puttin apps on it now

Question for any and everyone on this rom: How is BATTERY LIFE?
Im on CM6 and Im getting about 7-8 hrs usage.

On days with some standard usage (several emails/txts, couple calls, occasional web browse but not a lot), I've been able to get over ~24 hrs with it. I likely would have gotten more when I last put it to the test but was about to take a trip and wanted to be sure she was completely full when I left.

Bottom line... it works very well.
That's awesome!! I got off work from 2 jobs and stayed up(when I should have been sleeping) to flash this rom. So far, my batt life was great. It was still at 100% on standby for 3 hrs. Usually I would have dropped 10% EASILY but I had to do a battery so im gonna further test at work today.

awesome rom!!
^ Agreed!!

can anyone give me some input as to what kernels are working the best. thanks

I'm running Slayher's 1250 kernel (from Liquid Frozen Yogurt) and I'm getting a Quadrant score of 1764. That's faster than I've ever had with a Chevy or P3 kernel. Then again it could just be the awesome ROM. I haven't tried Chevy or P3 on UD 8.0.0.
How is Slayher's kernel running on UD 8? I LOVED his kernels on CM but right now, im gonna run the stock 800 on UD(with setCPU settings) and see how it is. My phone is amazingly snappy & quick on stock kernel. But I'll prolly install a couple on my SD card to switch throughout the day. :)

I can't install Stock Phone App.

I get a message that flashes something with android. process and it asks me to force close but then disappears quickly.

I did wipe data & cache three times before installing UD8. I also did fix permissions.
