vigvoodoo - that quad score is with the chevy1.25ghZ kernel?

i haven't had any issues with swype, but i did mess around and loose my cool icon for the music player.. doh.. launcherpro has been running great for me though, and this is the first rom that is letting me use an ultralowvoltage kernal. any other time i tried flashing a ulv kernal it just made everything suck..

on that note.. will i actually get noticably better battery life with an ulv kernal then with a regular lv kernal?

...Am I the only one having BT dialing issues?

Here is a fix that Blackdroid made for the bluetooth dialing problem. Rename to update.zip and install in recovery. This should allow you to use voice dialing with bluetooth.

Thanks RM!
Thanks also goes to BD for making an easy update.zip patch...:)
I was going to push a voicedialer.apk from perhaps UDv7 to UDv8, but his patch makes life far easier...lol :p:D

Nothing else to say about UD8 except..my phone has never ran faster or smoother with a rom+theme!! Wish I would have checked out UD long time ago!!

I do have 2 questions though. 1.this happens no matter what ROM I flash over but it seems all ROMs have a built in site blocker(?) that blocks specific sites, is there a way for the user to create their own whitelist?

2. Can any keyboard layout be added or do you have a specific list of them that can be used?

I was having Redraw problems with LP also, change a few settings around and it fixed it.

Under Settings/general settings/
checked=Keep in memory, enable scrollable widgets, motorola droid hack.

Under Settings/advanced settings/memory usage settings/memory usage preset=Moderate.

Under Settings/advanced settings/memory usage settings/
checked=use homescreen caches, build caches as needed, clear caches on exit, prevent force-closes.

Under Settings/advanced settings/
unchecked=elastic scrolling, high quality scrolling, use 3d drawer

Under Settings/advanced settings/minimum scrolling speed/
Set to 0

Under Settings/advanced settings/opening speed
Both set to 10

Hope that helps some people!dancedroid

I would think that keeping in memory and setting opening speed to max/10 would do the trick...no?

I was just trying to show most of my settings, i do know the min scrolling speed set to 0 really helps the snappyness. As for the memory usage settings/caches checked etc etc would help with the redraws i would think. And yes i would think keep in memory and setting opening speed to max 10 would also help with the redraws.
