Ultimate Droid Froyo eXtreme 8.0.0 - Droid

I'm running ChevyNo1 250-1250MHZ Low Voltage 7-Step kernel, SetCPU set to min-250/max-1250 ondemand, no profiles; runs a little over 1500 on quadrant setup this way, 1700+ if I set to performance. I get 10-12 hours of heavy, heavy, heavy usage (installing/uninstalling apps, playing music, using navigation, screen on the whole time, running benchmarks, basically messing with the phone for the whole 10-12 hours). Regular use I get about 24+hours (1-2hrs talking, 25-50 messages, 5-10 emails, 15-30min web browsing, 15-30min video, 15-30min navigation, 1-2hrs music/internet radio, couple benchmarks).

That's effin awesome!! I am always running the 125 compared to the 250 on most kernels. And you run NO profiles?? Wow! :)

I'm going to play full movies from youtube until it runs through a full charge to see how long it lasts.

lol!! Well I just changed over to Chevy's 250-1250. So Ima see what my "Ultimate Droid" can do! lolz! :icon_ banana:

edit: Ran QS of 1572 on 'performance' btw.

Hope you get the battery life, performance I get. Just started playing the movie "HOME" on youtube on HQ over wifi, full screen brightness, 3/4 volume, 15-20% battery left. Let's see if I can finish it, it's 1hr 33min long. 1572 thats great. I usually run 1500-1600 1st bench and 1650-1750 after that.

Im gonna try. I've been switching kernels like regularly but the best one I found so far was cvpcs's 125-1000 lv. It gave me 12 hrs usage(super heavy texting, little web, 2 phone calls) and then it shut off.

Let me know how the movie goes. lolz!

Im trying to upgrade to this from Froyo Extreme (RC2) but its not allowing me. Im using SPRecovery, renaming the file to update.zip, placing on root of sd card, wiping cache x3, allowing the install, installing (deprecated), and its giving me an error that reads "E: Cant open /sdcard/update.zip (no such file or directory)". What am I doing wrong here?

Check to make sure you didn't name it update.zip.zip. Also, sometimes unless you click OFF it after you've named it...it doesn't actually change the name.

Wow! That was it, I cant believe I didnt think about that. There I go again letting my noob hang out.

Edit: Does it always take that long to boot? I thought I was stuck in a boot loop.

I am having wicked bad force close issues on launcherpro for some reason which in turn is causing horrible redraw. Anyone else running into this or have a fix?

sent from the great depths of my phones internet (thanks Al Gore)

Quick question: every time i change wallpapers i have to reboot my phone in order to see the change. is this the way its supposed to be? just wondering...

Um, question. I read this elsewhere but can't get any clear insight on it but is it possible to recalibrate your battery in recovery? If so, where in RECOVERY do we do this?
