OK.. It is recommended to use SPRecovery to install this ROM. That being said, I used CW as well and had some issues to work out.
If you don't mind starting clean (and doing it the recommended way), rename the UD zip file to "update" (will be a zip file). Then switch over to SPRecovery (I use ROM manager to switch back and forth and when I switch I will select the recovery 3 times. So, in essence I am flashing over to SP from CW once, then flashing from SP to SP twice. Just what I do, not required)
Once over on SPR, boot into recovery. wipe data 3 times (again, just what I do). Then select "allow update.zip" then install update.zip
It should install UD again and bring you back up and running.
As a sidenote, I wipe the cache 3 times as well but we all know what that means we have to do once we get up and running.
NOW.. if you want to just try a quick fix, look at my previous post about fixing permissions.
no i didnt try fix permissions but i will...i used spr, wipe data once, wipe cache once and rename to update and install then rebooted when done..ill reflash wiping 3 times then i can try to fix permissions...i was running the luna theme..this time im gonna run the black glass....thanks for your help..

Downloading now. Let's see if this will replace bugless beast on my Droid

features look pretty good.thats not rom related that just means your fone wont accept anything over that...that is totally normal , some fones just cant handle higher clocked kernels....

Just tried that. INstalled fine, but once I try to SetCPU over 1.1ghz....bootloop
Probably just my phone and Chevy's Kernel because I installed LFY with its 1200 kernel and it worked out fine for me.
the stock theme is pretty nice its a compilation of like 4 or 5 great themes!!!! but if you want a good theme luna is great , kokhadoos, the revolution theme is pretty cool looking and also watermarked and mario are also cool if you are into cartoonish sorta things......oh i forgot 928 black glass i think is ported???? UD8
ultimate droid comes with a stock theme on it...it is by far just a stock looking rom.... UD8

Answer is no. Unfortunately I did not like this ROM. Didn't run very well on my phone. Looks like there's a lot of love for it though. Just didn't work out for me, restored back to BB V0.4.

I'm pretty big on first impressions and I simply didn't like the look of it too much. I understand this can easily be remedied with a theme but with bugless I liked it very much on first boot. I also did not like that the kernel was only oc'd to 800mhz, which again I know can be easily remedied. Mainly though, it did not run very smooth on my phone. Especially when I would change some of the UD settings and it would run the command for a very long time to no effect. just overall unsmoothness that i dont experience with BB.
