Ultimate Droid Froyo eXtreme 8.0.0 - Droid

Love this ROM - but, haven't been able to get SlingPlayer working with it. It hangs when launching. Then eventually FCs. Only thing holding me back!

Perhaps going to menu>settings>Ultimate Droid and the "fix permisssions" will help.

Ok I need some help. I downloaded UD 8.0 and installed it as update.zip on my rooted Droid 1. Now when my phone reboots all I get is the "UD" logo that flashes every few seconds.

I was kinda bored with BB v0.4, due to the fact that I've had it from day one, so today with my new replacement d1, I decided to try UD8 and my phone is running awesome.

Battery life is better, phone is very responsive, and it looks awesome. Definitely need to update my sig tomorrow after I conclude the 48hr test run.

Just about every theme will run on ud8 , Im sure you will like the rom it runs really good and never slows down.....UD8

Its the kernel that came with the froyo rom......I hope that helps you..it its modified a little bit by black droid

i've been running UD8 since its been released but lately i've been getting lots of redraws. I never had them before. It happens when I leave the internt browser and after taking a picture. I dont get why its started happening more all of the sudden

Quick question:

I love the look of the modified music player in UD8, but I'm curious if there's also been an addition of being able to browse through genre. Genre browsing has been a glaring omission from the stock player, one that I've seen remedied in MixZing player but unfortunately that program is fugly

So have any other usable changes been made to the music player aside from looks?

Heads up guys... I have twice had a text message send to someone other than who I intended. The first time I thought it was a fluke. However, it just happened again.

The scary part is, my inbox shows that it sent to who I wanted... there is no indication that it went to the wrong person... except the fact that they called me to ask what the hell the message was about :-/

This could be a dealbreaker for me.

what msger app do you use??i have never heard anything like this happeneing from running a particular rom....i did however hear this problem from running other msg'er apps.....

I know my ex had this problem on her phone and she was stock using the Handcent app. It was so wild to her, she uninstalled the app.
