Ultimate Droid Froyo eXtreme 8.0.0 - Droid

Even though I have "show custom message" checked and a custom message entered in, my custom message is not showing on the lockscreen. How do I get it to show?
You can try a reboot...I can't even find this option, I would be interested in knowing where it's located ?

It's working after a reboot.

The option is under the "Location and Security" menu in settings. You should see a checkbox to "show custom message." And underneath that an option to type in what you'd like your custom message to be.

It is not working for me and I have rebooted countless times maybe it is because of the routery dial lock screen

So your saying that if I use rotary lockscreen I can't change my carrier banner? That's incorrect. I can edit the eri.xml file to say anything. I can still use that with rotary.

I just switched from rotary to stock and was able to see the custom message, with rotary I was unable to see it.

Edi is only referring to using the UI settings menu....
Yup, I rebooted twice to make sure. But I still wasn't able to see it with Rotary selected.
If you prefer to use the Rotary Lockscreen, follow what xkape is suggesting...

BTW.... it would/should take without having to reboot.....

Tried to load ud8. After my apps restore I get nothing but bootloops :(
Back to ShadowRom :)
Funny.... I just tried ShadowRom and it seemed kinda glitchy for me.... Apps having problems syncing, homescreen freezes, and intermittent unresponsiveness on whatever I had running on the screen.
In all fairness to ShadowRom though, I really didn't try to tweak it that much to smoothen out it's performance, didn't really have the time... but I also am not an imbecile when it comes to loading new ROMs.... I've been 'called' an imbecile once or twice..LOL :p:D... but am actually not one when it comes to loading new ROMs, so I didn't F' it up installing it incorrectly to begin with...:icon_eek::)

My question would be if you installed a kernel along the way on UDv8?

I just tried out some fonts and decided I liked the original UD font... but there's no way to get it back! It's not one of the options you can pick.

Help?!
