I tried changing the boot up image, but when I start up the phone its still the default ultimate droid boot logo..

My Droid has suddenly become sluggish and blah..I am running UD 8.0, just switched from Chevy's 1.25 ULV to the 1.0 ULV, would this make phone slower??

Successful install and boot, but now the phone doesn't have a network connection to activate with my Google account. Any ideas? Should I just start over?

You are stuck in a boot loop. Pretty easy to fix. Just search the forum for boot loop instructions. Then start over and this time wipe data and cache before installing. That is more than likely the cause.

Got this ROM installed last night. LOVE it so far! Quick question though... I'm having trouble changing the background image. I like the UD, don't get me wrong, but I had something else in mind. Can't seem to figure that one out. When I long press on the background and select a wall paper, then press "Set Wallpaper," it always goes back to regular UD gray background. Thoughts?

Oh yeah, I downloaded a theme, but I don't know how to install it. So, any guidance in that department would be appreciated as well.

I had a problem worth background changing also. I read it's because of the theme you applied so Ireflashed after wiping and still the same deal. Reboot works but I think this is some problem worth the rom...

Not sure why you're having trouble with the wallpapers. Maybe someone else can help with that, but as far as the theme goes just flash it the same way you did the ROM.

Yeah, it's weird right? I thought so too. It's just got the stock theme. Can't seem to get that wallpaper to go away. Dunno why. Thanks for the tip on flashing a theme, though!

Oh snap... I just got my wallpaper to switch. I think it was the launcher. I switched to LauncherPro rather than the default UD launcher and my new wallpaper came up. I'm assuming a reboot would have accomplished the same thing unless the UD launcher somehow sets a UD wallpaper? That's beyond my scope of knowledge though. haha

interesting, i wonder if it is a launcher thing. now that you're on UD are you able to switch again without problem? Reason I ask is because I've always used Launcherpro and it gave me the same issue. Can you see if you can switch again without issue?

Oddly enough, it didn't give me the same problem. I'm not sure what the deal was... maybe it's just a glitch that makes it a little laggy? Did you try rebooting when you had the issue before?
