Glad I am not the only sick pup who has that plan Backnblack
I thought I was the only one who signed up that many lines w/2 data plans,
plus I can top that with an Unlimited Broadband Account (Grandfathered)too,
PC Card, EVDO Wireless Modem for my laptop. This makes my bill run a little higher.
But I prefer not to tether off my phone. I prefer a dedicated device for the laptop.
No deal for me either, because we are carrying over an Alltel plan for four phones (two with data) with 1200 minutes, unlimited texts (gotta have that cause my son averages 12,000 texts a month) and 11 "friends and family" for $215.00+Taxes. The closest VZW plan, money wise, is to drop to 700 minutes and give up "friends and Family" and it is still $12 more! And I would have to upgrade my daughter's phone with no discount (have to pay full price for new phone WTH?). Oh well.....
And a side note....Certain Alltel plans are compatible with the Droid. So don't blindly trust that CSR at the VZW store when he/she says that all Alltel plans do not work with the Droid. The easiest way to find out if your Alltel plan is compatible is to go through the steps to change your plan (you don't have to commit to anything) using VSW's website. The website will show you your options.

I'm in the same boat but I have 3 data plans and getting ready to have four. You would think they would do something for us people that spend this much.

Unlimited talk and text for two lines is $149.99 smart phones are $29.99 for the unlimited data per phone. You can have two lines unlimited everything with smart phones for $210.00.
For the same price I was paying before, I lost one line (yay!), got unlimited everything (yay! no more worries of text and messaging).
My bill is always high so the price doesn't bother me. It is a nice piece of mind knowing I wont get slammed with overages now. ALthough, I wouldn't mind seeing the unlimited price drop a bit further to be comparable with Sprint and T-mobile. But, I guess you get what you pay for.

Neither do I. Granted, my current plan is cheap enough I may not need to change, but it would be good to check.
