Update Radio to Newest Version (does NOT require root)

Is all of that info on your SD card or on your main memory? My SD card was fine, nothing changed, everything still there. I can't say positive about main memory items like that because I had nothing there.

If they are main memory, I would back up all to your desktop first.

And where does ROM manager save what I download? I have no idea where to go to install the rom

When you tell it to download the ROM, even if you have done it once, just go back and do it again when you're ready to shoot it. Once it downloads, select the backup and wipe data cache options (both) and let it go. It will take it from there, backing up and flashing in one shot.

Ooops I didn't check off that second option. What does that do?

The wipe cache thing I meanb

That clears all of the information out of the system in its entirely. Did you already start the Skyraider flash? If so, as soon as the phone comes back, bring ROM Manager back up, immediately flash the ROM again, hitting both options. Do that as soon as you can get into that part of the phone before reapplying apps or any of the other steps.

why would I wanna clear that data? Does it not work w skyraider? I'll be sure to do that though! crap!

It's stuck on the eye loading back and forth.

This won't brink my phone, right :'(

Don't sweat it, you should be fine. The best way to explain it is like you are jumping to a different computer OS, although both are Android. Sometimes data doesn't play well together from one version to another. You are just alleviating that problem.

OKay, I'm just crossing my fingers that my phone will stop w the loading eye and bring me to my main screen already

Just give it time, it can take a little while. If you still have the screens coming up and such, you're still good. It's unnerving the first time, I know. Now I just set a ROM flashing and set my phone aside while I do something else. Gotten pretty used to it. Main thing is to stick with ROM's, kernels and such that people have direct experience with. Don't experiment.

Yeah, I can tell it's trying to run like two operating systems at once. I'm definitely going to do the date cache whipe. Should i even bother hitting the backup button again, though? Since I already did that before, I mean.

Yeah, I'm back on my home screen. IF I hit back up wouldnt that make it have two OS's again if this messes up? Should I just not check it since I already backed it up previously and go ahead with the cache whipe?
