Update release at 8 pm tonight

Soo... has anyone downloaded this and had a positive experience with it? I'm rejecting it right now... just wondering is this the straw that broke the camels back to root my phone or not?

Awesome, they added nytimes to my bookmarks. Thanks Verizon, i wanted to go to their site but I didn't know how.

Carelessly swyped on my phone so there may be some weird typos

I just installed the update and so far all seems to be alright. For the first time, my gps locked on in a few seconds. That is nice. Looking at the description of the update it said "
Desktop cradle App is now available, showing clock in landscape mode. How do I get this app? anyone know. Will we ever get skype?, Netflix?

Update not GB...

I ran the update, but am still having problems with my Pandora, Slacker, and Google Cloud Music players. It seems they work fine....for one song...then, if my screen has timed out (which it does in two minutes), the player will not play another song. When I turn my screen back on, it says, "Waiting for coverage" and then starts the next song in a few seconds or so. If I use the built in Vcast Music player, it works fine and will play continuously. I had this same problem before the update and tried getting in touch with Pandora rep. He sent me a link to download Pandora from and told me to delete my old app first along with the cache, which I did. This did not work. I tried the same technique with this new update on my Thunderbolt and it still does the same thing. Also, my gps on Google+ puts my location about 15 miles away from my actual location...so, obviously this update has not fixed either of those gps/satellite problems...which is very disappointing.

Also, I am having a new problem. Now, my phone will not find the internet (such as the Marketplace) unless I disable Wyfy, which to me makes no sense whatsoever! As soon as I disable my Wyfy, it hooks up immediately. Is anyone else experiencing these problems with the new Mr2 update that was just pushed OTA????

Screw it ill get the bionic or Gs2 or root I'm sick of worrying about my phone working or not

Just updated my TB. It did take a while to re-boot, don't panic.
I'm non-rooted, no issues except battery life (about 10 hours on light/moderate use).
One thing I see right away is that I have 3 bars of 4G at my desk, when I used to get maybe 2 bars of 3G. I could not connect to My Verizon (prompted to do so with the update). Let's see if this translates to better battery usage.

Update a success! Reseeded battery & sim card to avoid any possible issues with losing 4G. All is working fine and that includes Pandora, Facebook, games, Go SMS, Email, etc...

You guys release this "fix" is probably just getting rid of the free mobile hot spot and giving people on thunderbolt forums something to talk about right?

WOW! Really I lost my free hot spot on July 7, before the update. It it was saying warning fees will be applied depending on what data plan you have. well something like that. But after the update I checked again and it directed you to call a number for the hot spot.

So becarefull and read the warning.

Mine is working great better service much smoother performance, the only "sticky" screen I had was on an app that crashed shortly after, other than that perfection. Battery is about the same. Service is better.

Mine is still free but my point is that they don't need u to update to get rid of the free mobile hot spot so if ur not updating just because of that like many ppl are saying that's just dumb.
