Update release at 8 pm tonight

No update for me yet. Everytime I check it doesn't say there's an update. I wonder what the deal is. Any advice?

When I spoke to Verizon yesterday I told them my wifes phone did not have the update. He asked if I wanted them to push it to her phone...I would call them and give it a shot.

i think they are all full of it, i just called verizon regarding the update on friday night, regarding the fact when i try to grab the update, i get NOTHING, and she checked with advanced tech support and they told her that the update is not official until Tuesday. The problem I have is that my mr2 updated device has gotten worse on reboot and battery quality since friday. this may be because i am checking for an update but i had to recharge my battery twice yesterday and have rebooted 5 times in 18 hours (3 times in four weeks prior to friday). what up with that. they (verizon) also stated that they cannot push this update directly to me.... i just want my phone to work, i still really like this device better that than my old blackberry bold paperweight, but c'mon, i spent $300.00 on this and am still waiting on remedies and communication to fix this situation...

I don't get service unavailable or any errors. I still get nothing. Supposedly my wife's incredible 2 is getting gb Monday. I'm going to root this tbolt this weekend, getting gb for myself, and hopefully fixing these dang reboots.

I just checked and it's there. Downloading now.
Okay, an update... I'm having issues downloading it. It was downloading then lost connection. When I checked for the update again, my screen wouldn't do anything. I had to reboot and search for the update again... which I did. I started downloading it again, and it stopped but came back up to the screen for me to accept the update. I did and it's starting to download again. We'll see what happens. What a PITA!

The full RUU link is on DroidLife and it works. It is over 400 meg, but you can download to PC and then move to your phone.

I don't understand why they made the OTA on this phone to be on the cellular network only. It really cripples everyone to get the update easily.

I did at first have problem connecting to 3G, but I rebooted and it has been good ever since. I updated around 1030 am yesterday morning and no reboots yet. Plus the phone has been faster. Can't wait for GB

What does the people search function enabled do?

I've done a soft reset and tried resetting my phone and I'm stuck in 1X still. After the update I had solid 4G and now I have zero once I got home. I had 3G for 2 seconds this morning setting up my Verizon, but when I turned off Wifi, no data whatsoever. =/

Did you use one of the market toggle APPs to set your phone to CDMA only prior to updating? Could be that the APP locked you in at CDMA.

No because my LTE on/off app was set to cdma pro auto and I am able to switch it.

I did that today because my update screen would disappear he like Idk just go download and install it yourself and it didn't work. Did a factory reset and still same problems if Tuesday my phone don't get it I'm going to rip Verizon a new one, HTC said just wait for them to push it and I'm like thanks for nothing. Verizon reps are clueless.
