that is prolly cuz who ever called u isnt in ur contact list...this has been discussed...also its a known bug...as far as the Chinese text... untranslated by TD1-MIUI maybe....

Hey guys, I just installed the rom on my droid and I can't recieve or send texts. Any ideas?

nope i havent.. its completely stock 1.1.14.1 and i already tried the theme fixer. like if i wipe and flash i can set it again but i gotta resetup everything

For the first time I used Miui Backup to restore my phone after wipe and flashing. A couple of things...

It seems that if your phones turns the screen off during the restore it pauses the process

And I noticed that it wouldn't restore all my apps. It seems to me that the apps that wouldn't restore were the ones located on my SD card.

I just have to say something....I've been running UD for almost a year now and stumbled up MIUI a few days ago and decided to give a try. This IS by far the best ROM I have ever had so far...no disrespect to UD. My D1 has NEVER run so good. Granted, there's always room for improvement, but not much that I can see...at least for me. I know each phone his its own personality, but this is smokin' on my mine.

I too have this problem. Worked until I flashed the .1 update.

In addition, setting up a PIN unlock immediately causes bootloops. Not yet sure about password/pattern unlocks.

camera issues

Anyone else's camera still doing the strobe thing? Is there a fix for this? Plus is the original camera app installed or available? I personally would rather use it than the MIUI app. Other info usual instal wiped all loaded both 14.0 and 14.1 etc.

All right, I am clearly in the minority here but I really enjoyed having the notification ring tone volume separate from that of the ringer. Is there anyway that I can get that back without a third party application? Like, is there a way to get a zip file that adds back that functionality to the ROM itself? Any help at all would be much appreciated.

Here is my first and so far only bug in this rom when switching between themes the font doesn't take effect its strange if I take and icon and move it to a folder then the font will change to the correct font, take it back out back to the wrong font

Anyone else having a force close issue with android.process.acore? I also cannot open up messenger, contacts, or phone... is this a contact syncing issue?
