This is definitely a fake the phone pictured is a Droid 3 and the specs are wrong on the screen.

Look at the bottom of the phone pictured. You can see the keyboard slide out.

It does say the tipster said it was an early version - could be "placeholders" as they design the final page. Those things are a work-in-progress until they get finalized. Just saying it still could be a real sign it's still coming soon! Hope springs eternal! Phil will never post anything with checking the sources.

As I looked a little coder at the "leaked" pic, I have to agree that it is not authentic. On the phone list in the upper left corner, the Charge would not be listed as a "Droid Charge" it would be listed as a Samsung Charge. just mho as the phones are normally listed by manufacturer not by systems in this kind of situation.

My Dad was in the newspaper business for years. They used mockup for advertising all the time. SO it would not surprise me if this is a mock up leaked out to the world.

True out could be a mock, but it's my thinking is that most of the basics and ad graphics are put in correctly, then the info for the product will get edited in.
It's out there & is a good graphic, so if it is a legit leak, it still is needing the product specs corrected, if it is a fake, someone has some time & imagination on their hands.

But, after looking at the X2 and comparing that screen with my X, I guess I belong to the anti-pentile 'group' and until now, never knew we were considered a group. (Do we get tax exempt status?)

I guess 'we as a group' do not like the pentile screen and 'we as a group' I belief can state such on forums.

Meh, nothing to see here. Ill pass on this one. Im happy with my D2 for the moment. Just give me a phone that isnt crippled by one feature or another.
