Even better deal if I can wait a couple weeks
Went by local VZW store today to see the Dinc and DX in person. Right now I can get either one for $199. But if I wait until 8/21 when my NE2 kicks in the in-store rep said I could get it for $99. Just have to decide by then which one I actually want. Droid X is so big it's intimidating to carry but would be good in use because of big screen. DInc looks easier to use and carry.
In moving from WinMo I am disappointed to find apparently two glaring shortcomings of Android:
1. No really good Calendar program to integrate with my Outlook calendar on my PC. (Like Agenda Fusion or Agenda One or Pocket Informant on Winmo.) I don't have access to an Exchange Server (whatever that is)
2. No good, direct way to Sync my Outlook calendar and tasks between the phone and my PC. I have always used Activesync and Verizons own Wireless sync on my WinMo.
Maybe something will develop before long. I have been searching the forums for solutions but haven't found much yet.
