verizon just sent me an update to 5.9.901

Verizon will. According to Motorola that is an official update. I dont know what they define as official but since Moto sees no problem with it i dont see why Verizon would. They send them back to them anyways to get them refurb'd

Yeah but Verizon gives like $150 for the phone while BB gives $300. Plus I am rooted on 5.7.893 and I am not sure how to unroot without the tool flashing back to 5.5.886 (I think).

Doesn't matter, I bought mine from amazon and my replacement device from verizon will be here tomorrow. Just don't volunteer that information and you should be fine.
