We aren't magicians...and we don't have access to any internal Moto files anymore nor any contacts active at Moto, so our resources to perform miracles are pretty limited these days. Yes...it sucks and yes it has been very difficult adjusting...boo hoo! That said we are and will continue to find the best solution for these issues, but for now we are at the mercy of Motorola. OK?

Actually, it shouldn't be ANYWHERE. Discussing warranty fraud (no matter how you try and justify it) is frowned upon around these parts. And for good reason, it makes the site look bad if it is full of posts on how to defraud VZW.

Just applied this update. Seems to work fine. Had a little trouble. Finally figured out must put update on sdcard-ext. Then updated first try.

Yes, it seems that they are unwilling to show the dev community any gratitude for the testing that they "allowed" us to perform on their behalf.

Hopefully they will eventually get around to our handsets with their "leaked" OTA's. It's pretty clear we have been used though willingly albeit.

I am sooooo glad I held firm on staying stock and didn't apply the leaked updates. I tell ya, another week or two and I would have done it -- I would have jumped straight to 5.7.893. I feel for you folks and fully understand the reason. Hopefully Moto/VZ will realize that they drove many to the extreme measure of applying these files in a desperate attempt to make their phone usable. Post-up the freakin' full updates w/ no version check for download. Those that applied the leaks will know what to do with them.

This .901 looks promising, however, until it is officially acknowledged, it'll just sit in my download folder for now.

How do you think I feel. I flashed 5.7.893 and the second I got back on this forum I saw this 901 post....but my phone was literally useable. it is better with .7.893, but not what it should be.....FML

Once you update to 5.9.901, there is no going back. Using RSDLite or R3l3as3Root to re-flash to the original version will brick your phone..... ask me how I know
