Well...restarted my phone and it's way....way...way... slower...so we will see exactly how this plays out.

I don't think you can compare like that. One might connect to the servers and not be flagged as throttled.

What speeds are you now?

Lol... like .02 mbps... it's amazing! It is still allowing advanced calling it is just really crappy!

yup that's about 128kbps. There is a flaw in their design. Voice shouldn't count towards data. Charging for VoLTE is asinine.
Advanced Calling will still work even at 2G speeds because you're still on the 4G network.

They will also not charge for the data that may be used during Advanced Calling conversations. Only data used to surf or send messages during a call will count towards your allotment. At least that was the plan as Verizon has indicated.

Yes, I understand network architecture. :) The through-put of VoLTE has to be more than 128Kbps though. I don't use it so I have no idea. It's lag and disconnect hell so I turned that crap off.

Yeah, I wasn't correcting you or assuming you didn't know. I hope it didn't seem that way. My comment was more for any others who may be following the thread and don't have the same level of knowledge or experience.
