One question and one problem to ask you about ViperBoy. Question -- you've often referred to removing the battery, presumably to reset the phone. Is this different than powering off and back on again?
Now my problem -- I have three IMAP email accounts. Two are set to check/update every 5 min., the other every 30 min. For some reason, typically at least once or twice a day, they just stop getting new email. If I power off and restart, the emails that have arrived will then be retrieved and show as new. I know emails have come because I have a copy of all my emails sent to my gmail account, and if I open the gmail application I'll see that there are new emails, but if I go to the IMAP accounts, they are not there. And if I selected "Refresh" nothing happens. The only way I've found to get the imap email accounts working again is to power off and restart the Droid.
Thoughts? What could be causing this? Is there an easier way to get the imap accounts working again besides a power off/on cycle?
Thanks in advance...
