I already have nicks on my phone (not from dropping, but from mixing with keys in pocket, etc.). What are the chances that VZW will charge me a fee after returning the phone for a warranty issue in the future?

Mobile Websites

A quick question. Does anyone know if a mobil web site can charge your phone and bill with out you authorizing it? Cause I have been to a few sites that say access site for however much money. I never click anything but could they charge me?

I have a question, a few pages back you were explaining about employee discounts and how verizon periodically reviews the accounts and back charges for the discounts when the employee no longer works for the specific company. My question is, what about employees that retire, are they backcharged? My dad worked for a company for over 30 years who offered him a substantial discount on his verizon plan. He retired but the discount is not specifically listed in his benefits. Should they be worried about possibly being backcharged or what?

Sorry for the vague answer but this would really be a case by case basis.

Hmm, well the potential is always there but I honestly don't know how this would be treated. Sorry.

What would happen if I upgrade my phone online w/ Walmart or Best Buy, pay the discounted price but am not eligible to upgrade yet?

Question, why when I reboot the phone it goes back to display times out after 15seconds? How can I fix this?

Question, What is Verizon's policy when it comes to switching phones? I purchased the droid on Feb 12th and I would like to switch to the Nexus One when it comes out since I'm having a bunch of problems with my Droid in addition to certain things I just don't like about the phone itself. Since the N1 most likely won't come out before my first 30 days are up, will I be stuck with paying the full price of the Nexus One?

I have a similar question, except I bought a Palm Pre on 2/9. What are the chances of getting the 30 day exchange policy extended so I can see the N1?

They very very rarely extend the exchnage policy if you want to see the N1 I would return the pre and go back to your old phone til the N1 comes then decide between the N1 and the pre

QFE. I know my store will not under any circumstances extend the return policy (we just had a big meeting about this yesterday) So your best/only bet would be to just return the phone before your 30 days is up, and hold off until the N1 comes out.

This is very good advice. Your chances are slim and none - and slim just left the building.
