sometimes i dont recieve text messages? & then sometimes i recieve them but it doesnt notify me when i get them i just happen to find them in my inbox? & sometimes i send a text & it keeps "sending" for a long time & i usually have to resend it? its very random when it happens & it happens at different places & with different people so i know its me not them.... it just seems to happen whenever it wants then it'll start working fine....do u know if there is a problem with my droid? or is it the network?
I did the *228 a few weeks ago & Verizon did the remove/add sms & it still seems to happen sometimes.....they want me to reset my phone now.......I don't see how that will help
Droid replacement #3 is on the way, is there any truth to the rumor that vzw will exchange the 3rd droid if it does not work for a phone of equal value?
I have had a miserable experience with these things since 2.1 came out. The first droid I reset 6 times, twice in one day, the second droid doesn't let me hear anyone over the phone and I'm to the point now where I have no apps and can't make a call.
I hope the third one works, tjhe stores here in NJ are a joke, always packed with people, the employees don't care, just keep senfing you new droids, and some even start their amateur rap carreers while wearing cheap sweater vests, 3 dollar ties and new 'kicks' while standing in the corner with name tags.
I'm thinking of getting a regular phone and dumping the data end, I've been paying for it for two months and have 2 phones that are useless.
Any help please? Thanks.
Okay thanks, I think I will steer away from the droid, maybe get the incredible. I've read bout snapdragon speed and I think the processor will be alot better than the droid's.

I hate to rain on the parade here, but at VZW we don't replace devices under warranty with anything BUT the handset that was purchased, provided we are a) outside of the WFG period, and B) covered by OEM warranty. There is a LARGE misconception that we will, upon replacing a device for the 3rd time replace it with a different/brand new handset. In the past we had a process in place that would allow us to replace the handset with a brand new one of the same make and model, but even that was misconstrued by many to allow for replacing the phone with another of a different make/model. Early this year the program was discontinued. Any exception to this is purely that, an exception, and is not something to be expected. All the warranty entitles anyone to is a warranty replacement of the same make/model. Nothing more, nothing less.
