I have a different NE2 question... My LG Dare just died on me. My NE2 is up Aug. 11th. I just reactivated my VX8300 How hard is it to get a Customer Service rep at a VZW store to bump my NE2 a month? I think I'm one of the last ones that still has $100 to upgrade to new phone. I can wait until Aug., but i would like to be able to get the X on the 15th. $99 with mail in rebate is too good to pass up. :icon_ banana:

I believe that option is online if you sign into your account but you might probably wont be able pre order anything that way ...

Ok, so how might I get rid of this silly Eris for a droid that works. I'd like to upgrade, but still have a lot of time before I can. I don't feel like paying $300 for a new phone either...there has to be a way!

OK just talked to my VZW B & M store. They told me i could purchase a phone and have it charged to my account as long as 1) i have had the line for at lease 6 months. 2) my account is not delinquent. Answered my question. Hope this helps anyone else. dancedroid

I have 3 lines and 2 have smart phones that have been recently upgraded, however I still have a dumb phone on 1 line with an avaliable upgrade. If I upgrade it to a Droid X and activate it then switch it back to my dumb phone will I have a 175 ETF or 350?

Any help please. Just got off the phone with VZ CSR. I explained that my phone died on me and that I would like to get my NE2 upgrade moved up to the 15th since i had to revert back to an older phone. and they said they couldn't do it. Now I know it can be done. MY third line had a phone issue and said they could use my NE2 to upgrade that line. The CSR was very nice and helpful as for as much as she could do and as such I didn't press harder. So what can I do?

When is your ne2 date? If you have an annual open so they won't just let u move the upgrade with the discount up if your already up for the annual.

My NE2 date is Aug. 11th. So it's less than 30 days out.

My account is due for the new every two upgrade soon and I am looking to combine what were two separate plans (one individual unlimited and one family) into one family plan. Both the individual plan phone and the main phone on the family plan are eligible for the new every two discount (is that in addition to the two year contract discount?). When I combine the phones onto the same plan, will the individual plan phone lose it's discount? Also, the site mentions my discount would be $50 or $100 depending on the phone and plan...If we are moving from BlackBerrys and Palms to Droids, would that qualify for the $100 ($200 for both phones) off?

Also, the unlimited plan phone has been using ActiveSync and Windows Mobile to sync with work emails. Can we do that on the Droid with the $30 data plan or do we need the $45 data plan?

Hopefully, some creative help

My husband and I are grandfathered into an ancient 400 min. family share plan with primary @ $39.99 and never use our minutes. We exercised our ne2 Sept 4, 2009 for inexpensive samsung phones. Now, I really want a Droidx without waiting until May 2011 (the 20 month date). Is there a way? If I upgrade my plan to one that costs at least 59.99, will they let me upgrade to droidx in 3 months? Any other ideas? Thanks.
