Wow...I don't know if this is the right forum, but I just happened to look at my VZW data usage for current cycle (which ends tomorrow):
1,157,529 KB
In Megabytes* 1,131 MB
In Gigabytes* 2 GB
That is some "rounding up" per their notation. Almost 800+ MB's!

Storm 2 moving to Droid X - I hope. Requesting guidance on what I need to ask the VZW Rep to get at the following information. Questions so far have not been addressed by VZW Reps so maybe I am asking the wrong questions.
I ordered a Droid X at the retail store Friday AM. I was told that it would ship on Monday (today) which I have my doubts on. Any guidance on how can I find out when it is forecasted to ship?
Thanks for any feedback.
I can't get my email to load on my DX properly. I want my Cox.net email to load but it won't accept them. I changed the inbound and outbound server settings and the ports to but it won't take it. Any ideas?![]()
Is there any way to get out of the $35 restocking fee if I'm having problems with my phone and just want to upgrade to the Droid X? I just purchased the Droid on July 27th.
Also, do you know if the Droid 2 will be the same price as the Droid 1?
Edit: Forget it, the restocking fee question was answered, lol.
Not really a way to get out of the restocking fee. If there is something wrong with your phone, if you get another one, there is no fee. Going to different model, fee.
Droid 2 will be the original price of the droid. Same as the x, slight possibility less.
Awesome, so I should be good on price then. I read in both the return policy and from various people online that if I return the phone as defective and opt to instead go back to my old phone for a period of 4 days, I will then be eligible for a new every 2 upgrade again. This means that I avoid the restocking fee and I can then order the Droid 2. Any actual weight to this?
Hey Verizon employees!
I have a question regarding my Motorola Droid. I purchased it in January of 2010 and the warranty is still in effect. Just recently, I noticed that the lock button has stopped clicking and has become quite hard to use.
With the news of D1 officially being out of stock and erased from the inventory, what are the odds of me getting a refurbed D1 phone? Also, what would my options be? - DX, DI, or the Ally (eww)?
I got two droids in June not knowing that this phone was not up to par to the droid x or the incredible. I payed the same amount for this phone that the droid x is selling for and I think I pretty much lost my money. I want to get a newer phone like the x or incredible since i did pay the same price they sell for and i was wondering how i can do that. The droid will not run Android 3.0 and it wont compete with the newer phones so for the next two years I'm stuck on a phone that doesn't compete and will not be supported anymore. The sales rep told me this phone could compete but the truth is it won't now that I actually compared them.

Store probably wont do it, and if you got the buy one get one promotion, they will not honor that with another device. I would call customer service and see what they would do for you. They may allow you to exchange both into a different device, but i would expect to pay for the free one, and probably post up for the restocking fee. Or option 2 is they would let you buy a CPO phone for both of your lines. This is going to be the more expensive route since you just got those phones, but if you slap them on ebay, you will probably recoup some of the cost of them.
