Take ICS away and there really is no point for the Nexus, imo. The main attraction for this phone is stock ICS and that it's unlocked. Take that away and well the main point of it is defeated.

As for the camera, it's pretty impressive imo. I'm no photographer so they're pretty impressive, heck, even my incredible takes pretty darn good pics. No shutter lag is a huge plus for me cause I like to take pics of those random moments or sometimes cars driving by, I can't just stop time to let my camera load up, so that's a huge plus for me. And considering my Inc is pretty much 2 years old, the cameras on mobile devices only got better since then.

Well, I'm hearing talk of 4.1 so any issues could already be fixed. I also read Google will be doing a lot in 2012 regarding ICS, and I mean A LOT, so I would expect timely updates.

A bit off-topic. I can't remember where, but a poster on another site said the reason Google moved the I/O conference from April to June is because they are working on and introducing a SIRI-like function natively.

This is new and different, another whiner. These new threads never get old, oh wait...

Yah I also used to ignore whiners, and then I bought the Thunderbolt.

Most of the original Thunderbolt issues finally got fixed but it took 9 months.

It's okay phone now except for htc sense which is retarded.

you can switch the launcher. What don't you like about sense?

Ok, let's get it together.

Honestly hardware wise I still think this is the best phone on Verizon.

Based on??? Same processor and GPU as the RAZR. Radios will never be as good as the RAZR or Bionic. Screen on the Rezound blows away the competition. Build quality is questionable especially with the flimsy battery cover.

Not disagreeing with your opinion. Just trying to understand your logic.

Think about it - you have the Bionic which is an OK phone but is plastic full of bloat and buggy. You have the RAZR which everyone was excited about which is too thin, has a weak motor for vibration and serious speaker sound issues. The Bionic screen is bad, the RAZR screen is dim and has splotches. Then you have the brick they call the Rezound.

The Nexus is slim, has a great screen, bigger screen area - nice looking and the OS will always be the best.

The battery cover worried me until someone sent me a video of someone taking off the battery cover and bending it completely back and forth. The "flimsy" bends completely so will never break.

My Bionic cover is full plastic and creaks.

The Rezound screen is the only good thing about out. It's twice as thick as the RAZR and as thick as the Bionic WITH the extended battery. It has a 1620 battery which is too low, it has Sense... it's ugly.

I was looking at the user reviews for the GSM version sold in UK and other than complains about the volume bug , which was fixed , it gets only 5 stars from everybody . Couldn't find one camera complain from a user that bought the phone . I think that isn't disappointing at all .

The only legitimate knock on the Galaxy Nexus is it's 2-year-old GPU. I can live with and I'll be getting it if it plays as well as the Rezound with Verizon's LTE.

IMO, the only thing the Nexus has on the Rezound is unlocked pure ICS experience. The Rezound is a great phone. I'm really not one to buy a phone based on it's looks alone.

@SSHGuru: I don't think the Bionic is plasticy at all. It is a very sturdy device just like the Droid X and the OG Droid. So is the RAZR. And I think the Bionic screen looks pretty good even though it isn't HD. I do agree the RAZR screen is not good at all. Looks good with dark colors but add bright colors and it goes downhill. Some of the other things you addressed were software issues which I can agree with. But you did say hardware-wise. The OS is what makes the GN. Nothing more. At the end of the day it is still no better than the rest in regards to hardware.
