First Impressions after a full day.
Screen: It's nice compared to some of the devices I've used in the past. It feels a bit awkward in the hands and not nearly easy enough to use with one hand, but it's not a deal breaker.
Build Quality: This phone REALLY leaves something to be desired. The only phone I've used that feels more flimsy than this is the Charge. Battery door is terrible for a TierI device like this. All in all not the build quality i expected. I'm not expecting Moto build quality but it needs to be better than this. Overall, one of the first things I thought was "I need to get this thing in a case ASAP..." I expected more.
Battery: I'll leave this for the time being seeing as it was Day1 use in an LTE area. I wasn't disappointed so it may very well turn out to have fabulous overall battery life.
OS: ICS is nice but obviously some people are having issues. I'm not, but i have yet to really get into the device.
Development: This phone will have development and support for the foreseeable future. If you can manage to screw this phone up, you dont need to root & rom.
ISSUES: Speaker sounds a bit hollow to me when making calls. I did have a few radio issues at first, but they appear to have been resolved after i was able to update software.
OVERALL: I'm not nearly as impressed with this device as I thought I'd be. In the past, all previous Nexus devices had some WOW factor for me. Even the Xoom had Honeycomb and LTE ( not quite functioning LTE but whatever) This device has no real WOW for me. You could have taken ICS and put it in any of the other 2 recent big releases (RAZR and Rezound) and I would have been more impressed because both have better build quality IMO. All in all I'm not terribly impressed but I go through phones like a lot of people do rubbers
