I was like you for a bit, but grew tired of the limitations of the "unrooted" circle widget (that and the constant adds). Rooting is rather easy on a regular Razr, and Arctic HD is a fantastic rom.

Loved it until it started locking up during boot. I don't blame the rom probably my phone. Worrying on trying to find a fix now. Droid hd is working flawlessly on my brothers RAZR that i set up

Thanks to you Josh, I'm about to do the same thing on my Maxx...but I need to unbrick it first, lol! No lie, I got stuck in a boot loop uninstalling bootstrap. But no fear... thanks to guidot, Sydman, and mattlgroff I am fixing the little pia as I type.
