At the very least, the two threads should have been merged.

I haven't had great experience with the moderates in this forum, but who am I to say... some forums are run by the posters who keep it going, some are run by the mods. This one is the latter.

The problem mainly seems to be me - just because I don't agree with everyone. And this isn't even a forum about religion or politics - it's about a phone. So I'm a debbie downer - so what, I'm also right. I said weeks ago this phone wouldn't be released until March and not only did no one believer, everyone got mad at me.

So I think I deserve a little bit of "I told you so."

Since a few of you are straying off topic in here I will say this. Droid Forums is privately owned. Secondly if a thread is closed its for a reason. Lastly there more than enough Thunderbolt threads, starting anymore would be redundant.

Problem with this line of thinking is that although you are privately owned, you still rely on visitors to your site for advertising revenue. While I understand why you closed the previous thread and even agree with it, taking a "we will do whatever we want" attitude and punishing the majority over a very small minority's mistakes along with a smug attitude, doesn't bode well with me and allot of others.

You own the site and obviously have the right to do whatever you want ... but we also have the right to go elsewhere.

Like I said you cant have an agrument with someone without a mod stepping in...To stay on topic I went to BB and the manager said it was pushed back and will not be launching on the 24th and does not have a release date all they know is HTC pushed it back

Last off topic, previous thread post for me;

If I had to guess I would say the real reason the other thread got closed was that Effington came in there and started talking smack about Miami, again. I've been on that thread multiple times every day for about the last 2-3 weeks and I can say that hookbill did the right thing. That thread had spiraled of of control quite a few times and was getting ramped up to really throw the flame-bombs around.

Not kissing the mods collective bean-bags, but I have to agree that putting that thread down was not a bad idea, it was painful to read at times.

Plus we can edit our posts in this one, so let's try no to get it closed too.

On topic - I still say Feb. 28th (wishful thinking) or March 3rd (more realistic). Hopefully we'll at least get a date from VZW by the 28th, even if it's late March I'd still like to know.

Please show me the example where I "talked smack." I was not rude, or disrespectful. I did call him out on being wrong about this release date, but I also gave him credit for the times he was right. Another mod got annoyed over it and, again, I assured them it was just a joke - and all was well.

It's all about perceptions, but in my experience, the moderators of this forum are itching for a fight. I'm just trying to bring a different perspective and create a lively debate. You'd think that would be more interesting than everyone just telling each other how right they are all the time... but I guess not.

I have nothing bad to say about anyone here personally - and I never have.

Certainly is not coming out tomorrow. They would have commercials saying this by now. Probably not the 28th either. I can't see them releasing on any day other than Thursday.

As far as the whining in this thread....stop living on forums and maybe when a thread gets closed y'all wont have a hissy fit. Its not a big deal!

Stopped by Verizon today ,, they said before the end of the month for TB.
Heres the the kicker , when I walked in my wife and I were the only ones in the store,, couple seconds later about 20 employee's walked out from the back,, most left.............. employee meeting.... does that mean anything?? Who knows but it may have been a last second meeting to go over TB
