Sorry for the off topic but that was part of my deal with her, i use it to upgrade to TB and use her NE2 and i just have to pay full price for a dumb phone that would be easy for her to use..
only reason why is she will never want or be capable of using a smart phone for the rest of her life.. sad to say but true.. she couldnt even grasp the idea of double clicking icons to open them on a PC.. lol

I don't buy any stock in that purported rumor. After all, this phone has been in the making for a long time. HTC has been in business making smartphones for a long time. I think it's Verizon politics driving the delay/announcement of this phone.
Almost like they are waiting to see how much hype they can get around it, so the price can keep going up?

engadgets tipsters said the phone is dying after 3-4 hours from full to dead.. that is worth a delay imo.. i dont want to deal with that bs.. bugs here and there i can tolerate and have many times on diff roms but battery life is a biggy for me.. my D1 barely gets by a 10 hour day and i charge it in my car on my lunch lol
i was hoping this can be AT LEAST as good if not a fair amount better..

If it were the battery what would be the point of delaying it? Delayed embarrassment? It's a little late to call in the engineers.
If it's software related then they can update the software before launching.

this is still all speculation though right? nothings been confirmed as usual... we wont ever really know why this delay keeps happening until verizon says something official which we all know they wont
You got that right. I really have liked my Inc and like HTC, but if they can't fix their batteries and charging, I'll be reconsidering my next purchase. And I really don't want to do that.
No real sense in making some huge announcement for a phone that hasn't been released to the public yet. It's been put back so long, that would be increased embarrassment. They are better off keeping their mouths shut.
