Who else has lost their excitement over the Nexus?

i just thought the pure google experience was no bloatware at all

Yeah on any other carrier maybe but we're talking about Verizon here. I think everyone should be happy it's only two apps that people can actually use rather than a bunch that would never be used and run it the background. If you consider My Verizon Wireless app and Backup Assistant bloatware than you must have not ever owned another phone on Verizon. I for one use My Verizon Wireless app so maybe that's why it's not a big deal to me but I always considered bloatware being apps forced to be permanently on the phone that aren't really useful tools such as demo of games and amazon mp3, ect. If you don't use them then you root and remove them or if you don't root use the feature in ICS to freeze them. Either way Galaxy Nexus will be a pure Google experience.

Not me. I played with the Razr and wasn't very impressed. It was really big and had a box feel. Plus motor blur makes the phone feel sluggish. It is thin but not really comfortable to hold. I think the Nexus will be the best we know of for a while

But if you can't wait, VZs new holiday is we can buy any phone now and get till Jan. 15 to return or exchange it. Soooooo, I plan on getting a Rezound and trading in for a GNex whenever it comes.

Yes, no bloatware and no manufacturer skin. While the two apps on the Verizon Nexus are technically bloatware, there's no doubt this is a pure google device.

What has this forum come to, a bunch of cry babies. I never saw Verizon announcing anything of releasing the Nexus at a certain date so it can come out next year if they wanted to release it than. They should just delete this thread and me a sub forum for rants and cry babies and will stop all clutter

The excitement for me is at a stand still but I haven't lost the excitement. The excitement really kicks in on the way to the Verizon store to get the G-Nex. I'm even more excited for the development community to take off.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ THIS for me as well..... Right now im like...BLAH.....when i go to see the beauty....ill be like.....:icon_ banana:......then .......then hmmmmmmm which do i like better(rezound or g-nex).....then.....:D <----Me happy for the next year to year and a half. I just want this done. I will be happy with either. Im going to check out each screen since i have to look at it for the next 2 years( I REALLY like the rezounds screen!! it will be hard to beat, period). The how i like it in my hand, how i like the size of screen, How I like each UI (rezound will get ICS....no worries there), how i like the feel of it in my hand(the rezound fits my hand....very nicely. The G-nex will have MORE devs and some killer devs from the OG droid, The rezound already has some killer devs from the OG dinc.

Its a toss up, I really like the rezound. theres alot to like about it(even though people dont think so, cause they wont give it the time of day!!!!).!

Well, I was beyond excited about this, I was so ready to go, but then more negative stuff kept coming out like, no external memory card, no support for usb mass storage, and the worst of all is that WHY NOT A RELEASE DATE? even at the google conference assured that it would be available in the U.S. on November, and now they're saying that it won't happen anymore till December, and they only response that we got straight from Samsung was "Yes, it will happen on December"..What day? "Soon..." .......Really? I just got the REZOUND instead, 1.5 dual core processor instead of 1.2, exchangeable memory, 8 MP camera back and 2 Mp front..I know the Nexus will have ICS, but HTC already confirmed ICS for the REZOUND, plus I can just root this baby and i might even be able to get ICS before the Nexus comes out...I won't be waiting for the almighty hand of Verizon and/or Samsung for them to say when I'll be able to get their product..I know I sound like I'm *****in' too much, but I'm just frustrated and tired how this marketing strategy is been done...:icon_evil:

@713KING ...yes Verizon, along with Google and Samsung announced it for November in the U.S......And about bloatware and all that, with Android phones it doesn't matter, just root it and get rid of all that bloatware, that's it...

It wasn't just leaked images of a supposed release? Samsung might of said November and got confused with europe since they already have it

Guys there is still a glimmer of hope for a November release, there is still a week left. If not, December is rounding the bend, the wait is almost over. I know it's tough, it kills me to see that the UK has had it for almost a week and now international unlocked models are available to buy in the US for T-mo and AT&T customers but Verizon will have it soon enough. I can't see it being like the Bionic, not with Google being a part of this. So take a breather and wait, there is already USB mounting and UI tweaks so when Verizon gets this bad boy we will be able to do more with it in terms of mods and tweaks.

I'm even more enthused, as of today. I just found out tonight that my home and workplace both received LTE coverage as of the Nov. 17 rollout.
