The excitement has dropped a little for me. And I am actually becoming attached to my rental Bionic. I am sure this will change when I can actually put my hands on one and actually play with it.
Not even a little and find all the hand wringing ridiculous. I would much rather them get the issues that UK users are experiencing resolved before releasing it in the US instead of selling a flawed phone.
Not as excited as before. Just like bionic in getting delayed. But u can count on another thread coming out after its released "Why did I wait for this phone" no mass storage is a big turn off as well. Hopefully its worth the wait D1 is dying very rapidly power button doesn't work anymore.
It's a phantom volume bug that turns down the ringer volume or the volume while on a phone call. As far as I read it's only affected when a handset that uses the 900mhz band is in use nearby. Google has a software fix for it and will release it asap.

The only reason anyone is upset with the phone is us as a collective forum. We keep making up new "rumors" from "credible sources" that are in the know from their brothers mothers aunts sister. I am not disappointed in the phone, the handling of the release, or any thing on verizons end. They have hardly even acknowledged the gnex up to this point, so why expect a release date? Heck the only reason we even know about this phone is because of us! If it weren't for the forum how many people would even know this device was headed our way? We are an unstoppable machine of rumor creation and hope destruction.
In a way I glad of he delay. Still wish it would get here now but the delay has given me more time to look at the three choices, read reviews and user opinions, although not of the LTE version. They have made me feel better about the choice of the Nexus, now that it has solidified to be 32 gig.
Just curious, as you can count me in as one who definitely has. It's a bummer, as I was really looking forward to dumping the Bionic, but the excitement has worn off. Guess I'll be saving some cash and sticking with current phone for a bit.
