I've been having problems with this new market. My problem was with Cyanogen. I just found the fix for it here: New android market - CyanogenMod Forum. I've been using the bowers black market. These themes look great to say the least.:yr1: Big props to everyone.

i dont know, i didnt think it would need to be but for some reason it only worked for me when i signed it.

is it because I edited images after I decompiled it? (at the same time as editing xmls)


btw, im using a droid 1

I tried flashing both and all that happened was my market vanished. I dld from my phone then used SPR to flash. Ideas?

Well here is the black market with a couple of my tweaks added. basically it is the same black market posted in the op except I gave it more of the original blacknbold feel.


-I switched icons to thebowers old black market icon
-changed the white fade gradient back to its normal size and made it a black fade gradient instead
-used thebowers blacknbold buttons

I tried a couple of things. First I installed like a theme, put on root of SD, renamed update.zip and flashed through SPR. After reboot, I had no market at all. So I went into Root Explorer, extracted the .apk file from the zip and copied it to /system/app and set permissions. Reboot and no market. So I tried the black one, installed update.zip through SPR and nothing. Wondering if it's because I downloaded the file from my phone instead of my computer...

Did you try that update.zip pack I posted?... it's a very simple script

thanks girlsluvdroid, I only made minor changes though and with older files from thebowers, so all the other themers here deserve just about all of the credit

LOL, thanks for not holding that against me. although it does bother me some, i think next time i will wait to edit the images until after it is compiled to see if that does anything...
