I only use Clockwork, it must be able to install through SPR if you guys have done it, but I seem to recall something about update.zips not being compatible with SPR, or they had to be renamed or something like that..... I could be wrong... I usually am .....

Anyway, I apologize if I gave misinformation..... sorry guys......

It's actually the other way... SPR needs the .zips to be named update.zip, whereas ClockWork can install the zips from the sdcard in anyname.zip

Droid Incredible

Anybody using the Droid Incredible getting force close issues? I have tried Darkside and the Black Market version that Mojo posted. I even used the update.zip template from page 29, but nothing has worked.

Well here is the black market with a couple of my tweaks added. basically it is the same black market posted in the op except I gave it more of the original blacknbold feel.

-I switched icons to thebowers old black market icon
-changed the white fade gradient back to its normal size and made it a black fade gradient instead
-used thebowers blacknbold buttons

Just tried flashin this one....clockwork said the zip was bad.....anyone elsehave this issue??

So the update.zip pack got it installed but you are having FC's with the market?... have yu tried any of the other vending.apk's posted in this thread?

Once you start getting Fc's you are kind of stuck. You need to flash a backup from before it started FCing and flash your market of choice again. There is no other way to fix this!

The market I posted is giving me trouble when I try to download an app. Prolly has to do with the issue I was having that required me to sign it. Don't know what the issue is though. Ill leave the file posted for now incase any themer wants to grab the images from it and the bottom_light_gradient.xml to fix it. but you might want to hold off on downloading it for now

But I was using the darkside black market and can confirm that works

Yes, it installed just fine. It even started up fine for about 15 seconds and then I started getting the f/c messages. I haven't installed any of the other ones besides what I mentioned earlier.

I'm restoring a backup as I type. It is the latest Black Market that thebowers helped with. I know that it works. I'll try and get back into this tomorrow because I need to get in the bed. Thanks for the responses.

Nothing against the other themers (they are all great efforts), but I really like the looks of your market the best. I hope to get yours running tomorrow night. It has the best likeness of thebowers Black Market.

mojo - I don't know what's going on with your Market but out of curiosity I downloaded it and looked in the res folder and the folders you have in there do not match up with the folders that are inside of the Darkside.zip -

That's how apkmanagwr4.9 packaged it. I tried 4.7 and that packages it the same way as the darkside, but it still won't take the new app unless it's signed so I'm guessing the issue is still there

You're referring to the -v4 on all the drawable folders?

I fixed it..but in the way that I was really hoping not to. I copied the files I edited and put them in the darkside apk.... So my issue isn't solved, but the market is fixed
