Boston in six
Would you have said that in the beginning? I took Boston from the beginning. Team players

Lin isn't bad, best PG y'all had since Chauncey. I see Nash staying in Phoenix to be honest, and I don't think you guys have the cap space to get D-Will, unless y'all trade Amare or Melo, which is a near impossible task. And growing up in the Bay, I have seen Lin play a couple times and he's pretty good, he just finally got the chance, so no I didn't hop the Linsanity wagon. He has much to work on (overdribbling seems to be his achilles), but he has a bright future if he can stay on a team and it seems like NY fits him well.Knicks didn't have a chance because it was too hectic of a year...Chandler is great, he just won a ring. Look at Dallas after he left. I think the problem is selfish players...and amare is done too. Good point guard is important too. Hopefully nash or deron williams
Congratulations Thunder. Fisher getting 6. As far as the Knicks Melo is the Kobe of that team. Meaning they will never win playing unnecessary one on one basketball.
WestOkid said:Not sure I get your logic. I am no Kobe fanboy he does shoot too much at times. Complete nut this year. However, Kobe has 5 rings, 7 finals alpearences, multi all defense appearances, multi 1st team all-NBA, MVP, etc, etc. Melo has none of the aforementioned accomplishments, so how is he the Knicks' Kobe?
I agree with you on Fish getting 6.

No seriously though after Jordan left the NBA(Stern) knew that they needed another him. Kobe at that time showed tremendous potential but his game is not on that level. Although he honestly did become a better scorer, he just couldn't demand a game like MJ could. After awhile I look at it as a business. If you pay attention They are Really doing it now with KD because they know Kobe is on his way out, and nobody likes LeBron.
dezymond said:You're absolutely right. Kobe did draw in about the same attention as Kobe but that's about it. Stern got what he wanted, another cash cow for the next 10+ years, but he couldn't emulate another MJ. Don't get me wrong, Kobe is one of the greatest to ever play the game, but there is only one G.O.A.T.
KD is going to be the next biggest superstar, I saw this coming as soon as he stepped onto the NBA hardwood. He isn't the type of star that likes the spotlight like Kobe and MJ do. A down to earth, quiet, and humble kid is going to run the NBA without him even knowing it. And the same goes for Rose as well, these are the kind of superstars who I love to see succeed. Stern has a handful of mellow superstars who just play the game and can really care less bout what the media puts out about them. They quietly improve their games year after year without the charades that a few other superstars go through every season. Some of these younger stars remind me of Duncan and his personality and those kind of stars are good for the nba
