Yea I hope so and that European we drafted from overseas with the girlfriend, he's supposed to really be something too.
I forget how the NBA playoffs work, its top 2 teams in each division, and then 2 wildcards right? We have a tough division with 3 play off contendors already in it but hopefully we can find our way in. I mean we got new uniforms!
I've always felt llike having big men is the key to a championship in the NBA. If you look at the teams that one the championship in the past decade they all had a big man/post presence. Not even Kobe could do by himself, first shaq, then pau gasol came in
Its about time Dirk won a championship I mean come on, 7 footer who buckets 3's? Automatic hall of fame

The NBA just vetoed the CP3 trade, said it wasn't in the best interest of the league.
And Stern corrupts again...
It was a fair trade all-around imo. CP3 gets what he wants and the Hornets get alot to show for it (Odom, Martin, Dragic, Scola, possible 1st rd pick). Houston gets their need at the 5 in Gasol (though he's a 4 imo). Don't get how owners complain about this trade and none of the trades that happened last season....ridiculous...
Apparently Dan Gilbert is still hurt by the betrayal of his former superstar: http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news?slug=ys-nba_dan_gilbert_email_lakers_hornets_trade_120811probably because all the owners have a piece of the hornets and they're not getting any star players to fill the stands ... that place is empty as it is.... they would probably have a better overall team but no star player.... I think they should've allowed it

I'm going to stick with saying it was a fair trade. It addressed the needs for all the teams. LA got what they wanted a superstar for the future, houston got their 4/5 problem addressed, and hornets got a bunch of quality players which would be a good start for a franchise that is most likely on the move to another city. Although it didn't go through now, I believe it will once the Hornets find an owner. With this trade vetoed this creates more drama than what would've happened if the trade went through imo. You got a bunch of unhappy players, and these are pretty big name players too....
