Knicks plan to use the amnesty clause on Billups. I'd be surprised if he agreed to sign with them again.

Celtics makin some small but much needed improvement moves, bringing in David West for New Orleans and Brandon Bass from Orlando, both great defenders and play tough. West should be able to thrive in Boston playing with the other 4 starters. And Bass is a pretty underrated 6th man.

NO/LAL just proposed their trade again. Better go through this time...

Honestly I feel like Houston is giving up waaaay to much in that deal I feel kinda sorry for them. Pau gasol isn't what he used to be, and he showed it last season in the playoffs.

wow not exactly Chandler's replacement but a nice pickup nonetheless. I hate the Lakers but I thought the Paul deal actually would make them worse off. Gasol is one of the better bigs in the league, he was pretty bad in the post season last year but other than that, he is very solid. I don't think the addition of Paul would have helped the Lakers at all if they had to sacrifice 2 7 footers.
I'll take it lol. Odom is a very versatile player with his height/length. He can shoot the 3 pretty well and is a solid defender. Him and Dirk on the floor at the same time is going to be great.
As for LAL, trading 2 bigs for arguably the best pg in the game might have worked. I'm sure if that trade had gone through maybe David West would've signed onto the Lakers. They definitely would've had to address the 4 spot quickly. Had that trade gone through I had my money on Howard getting to LAL through a trade. Kobe-CP3-Dwight, that's a pretty good 3 to have. Howard probably would've been worn down faster because of their lack of frontcourt backups, but I think it would've worked.

i read Bibby will sign with the Knicks, that is a good pick up for NY to go along with Chandler. looks like my Knicks will definately be relavant this year :icon_ lala:, providing they gel quickly. we all know talent doesnt always equal wins, but overall im looking forward to this season.
If melo passes the ball after he gets it they'd be alot better and more fun to watch imo. Dude is a ballstopper, pass to him and never see it again.
Because he gets results...he passes to amare and sometimes billups other than that the knicks don't have scorers
