My only complaint about bloo at this point is it seems to take more time to download the profile pics in the news feed.

That's why I ended up switching to using a browser. Bloo took foreeeever to show any pictures at all--profile pics, pics people posted, anything other than text took a really long time to show up. I'm a very visual person and I recognize people by their picture and generally ignore the name.

This too shall pass. Lol. I discovered bloo when the stock app couldn't update notifications. Facebook = fail. Haha! But I'm slightly addicted..

Does Bloo have a widget yet?

Not yet. He decided to postpone a widget to work on integrating chat. I'm not really a fan of social networking widgets myself, but he IS still planning one. He's just apparently had more request for chat and Facebook finally opened up a little bit to allow it. For now, i use AIM, but I understand meebo and others work well. If you use the link in the op to go to the dev's site, he's got some screen shots of what his chat will look like. Awesome to think it'll be integrated into one app with all the other features he's got that the stock app lacks.

That's an issue on Facebook's end unfortunately. It was all fine a few days ago.

This is a drawback of third party apps. These things happen from time to time. Especially with facebook and their app interface.

I'm really not sure on that one. I've seen those comments, but I've run my notification settings the way I described earlier since first downloading bloo, and I've only seen a handful of duplicates not even enough to complain, and never over and over.

In case you haven't checked/don't check the dev's site, he explains that fb has made some changes that caused the issue with comments. Also, he provides a link to enable chat via bloo. Use the link, and you'll be able to start chatting as soon as version 1.5 is out! (He's still working on fixing some bugs apparently.)

I'm going to give this app a try. Thanks for starting the thread and posting all that info. One question, when I look at my app permssion on facebook through the computer, I don't see bloo in there, is it suppose to show up with all the other apps?

It also doesn't seem to be accuratly showing comments that have been added to peoples post in the feed area. I check bloo and it shows no comments on something, even something I just posted on, but if I check the facebook app, or login through the webit shows the comments, it occures on older posts as well. I tried the refresh to no avail. Any thoughts?

Revolving Notifications

On Bloo I am getting notifications for the same thing every 2 mins maybe 5 times. This happens to me a lot so I just leave the notification sit. Is there a fix anyone knows? Also sometimes pics dont load. Could be a facebook issue. Other than that I love the app.

This is happening to a lot of people, myself included. I uninstalled it and went back to using the stock FB app.
