Why an app for Facebook instead of browser? Looking for a GOOD FB app? Look here!

*sigh* if only facebook didn't annoy me so much...Looks great though I remember enjoying using Bloo when I first got my droid!!

I used bloo as my excuse to remove all other stupid games and stuff. I periodically block new annoyances, so all facebook is for me is statuses and pictures and keeping in touch with friends and family. :D

Yeah, my annoyance with facebook is entirely my fault I made the mistake of having too many "friends".

They don't get a notification or anything. They only notice if they realize they don't see your updates anymore or they go to try and find you in their friends list. I give a few days notice. Something like "Spring cleaning time! If we don't keep in touch, on here, I'm removing people from my friends list. Not trying to offend anyone, but i like to keep the list small (only people i actually talk to) and it's getting too big."

That way, they know it's coming. Some people randomly request my friendship again months later whether I warn them or not. Lol

i have installed in my milestone already, i like the calendar sync function of 'Event' very much, but there are some question/ suggest for this apps, in the 'Event' page, i can't see the full description, the wall post of the event, and i can't select i am going to attend the event or not

I honestly don't get a LOT of event invites via Facebook, but i do have 3 right now. They all tell me who, what, when, and where. They even show the picture. I like the simplification, but I do agree that being able to respond would be a handy feature. I'm wondering if Facebook API would allow that functionality...

I installed Bloo again this morning after seeing that it was updated. Well, I'm still having the comment issue. I get a notification saying someone replied to my post, I click on the notification, it takes me to my post, but it says 0 replies. Refreshing has no effect. I go to the stock Facebook app and it shows the comment. I did noticed the pics were loading much faster though. Uninstalled again until the comments are working.

Also, it would be great if we could have manual notifications. I don't want the notification service running in the background, but unless I set it to, I can never see notifications from within the app.

my only problem now is I am getting Farmville etc in my newsfeed I thought I had disabled those via facebook.com yet BLOO is displaying them :(

That is why it needs the ability to select which news feed you see.
If we could select "status updates" as our feed.....it would eliminate this problem.

As previously stated in this thread, the comments issue is an issue with recent Facebook changes that are unseen when you're on the computer. It hadn't bothered me to much so far, as I generally respond when there's only been one or two comments left, so it's not hard to remember what was said. Hopefully, the dev is working on figuring our that issue.

If that's what you want, you're probably better off with the stock app. One of the main things i like about bloo is that my phone notifies me when I have new comments/etc. If you just want to manually check them, that's about all the stock app is good for imo.

Ability to control what news feed you want would be great!

Matter of opinion I suppose, but i personally only ever cared for the recent stories rather than the "top stories" that they keep cramming down my throat. Lol

That's odd. I have them turned off and the only time I see anything about fv is when someone posts a personal status about it. Nothing from the app itself appears for me in bloo, but I know I have friends playing it.

I don't think that would exactly work for me, because there are sometimes posts that I'm interested in that wouldn't show up in status-only feed. As well, I don't like seeing fm and other dumb things whether I'm on the computer or my Droid, so I'd much rather just completely remove them from all feeds.
