Will you purchase the Motorola Droid X

I found out that verizon is allowing anyone that has an upgrade coming by the end of December 2010 can upgrade immediately! So...YES... I'm getting an X there is always gonna be something better so I think if I'm always waiting for something better I will never get a better phone because I will always be waiting. I'm looking forward to getting the Droid X!!!

Nope I love the physical keyboard. I am waiting for the DROID PRO (insert choral music here). The Droid 2 does not seem to be enough of an update to switch over, and I like most things about the X but, I gotta have a physical keyboard. I just like that moto is rocking and rolling with some great phones.

I can't upgrade until 1/21/10 :(

I am positive that there will be much better phones than the X by that time. I'm sure I will be jealous of whatever it is you get in January of next year and be tired of my X! I think the only way I could truly be happy with any phone for more that a year would require me to delete all my tech blog bookmarks and forums like this one.

My purchase of ANY future upgrade to my Moto Droid would have to include a real REASON (Definite performance increase) *AND* most importantly, verification of root access and an unlocked boot loader. Since my Droid already does 1GHz without a problem, and I don't care about camera resolution, I don't see much reason to update. I'll wait until something comes out that is substantially better.

If Motorola, or any phone manufacturer for that matter, pulls a "Milestone" on the boot loader, I wouldn't even consider a purchase.

I'm just waiting for a game changer...

Front Facing Camera
4G
HDMI out

+ something else really sick.

All the ROMs are keeping my current Droid running just fine.

I'll be getting one on the 15th. This will be my first smart phone and Droid phone. Upgrading from a Samsung Juke to a Droid X is a HUGE step for me. The juke has like a 1.7 inch screen diagonally and upgrading to a 4.3 inch screen for me is INF'nSANE!!!! I really am soo excited for this phone.

Btw this is my first post =]

lol. I had a Samsung Juke, neat little phone.
But yea, its defiantly a big step. Don't worry, when this device comes out, they'll be support on these forums for you. I give you good luck with you new Droid X. :)

The Droid X will be my first Droid coming from iPhone the last couple years. I seen just the display today and it is not that big TO ME. And I'm coming from a iPhone. But I know the size will be a turn off to woman who usually wear tight fitting clothing. To me, this phone is very nice. Although it does not have the front facing camera it has it's strong points. HDMI, and WiFi hot spot is the sh#*. Oh yeah, most important it's only $20-25 for the data that's being used on WiFi.

Women who wear tight fitting clothing normally carry their phone in their bag.
