Okay..

I wonder if I could write a Linux script to make it more automatic. I'm new with smartphones but Im very familiar with Linux.

Probably not a good idea to try though. xD

Wait a minute you refuse to install the 246 even by using the HOB, but you are thinking of writing a script in Linux to do it?

Something's not right there. Are you sure you installed all the parts of the HoB? 7.2, FXZ, RSD, and the update installer. And yes, you need to be on a USB 2.0 port.[/QUOTE

I thought I did, but now I can't find the FXZ in the HOB folder with everything else. Should I just re-install it?

Thanks samuriHL, I decided not to wait. I made the update today too, now I am doing the FDR to make sure everything is okay. A few comments on things I was not sure of but made it thru.

1. Do I keep my cable connected during the Fastboot part and the reboot?
2. How long steps might take.

My reorganizing media files took over 30 minutes. Plus, other steps took a while.

Thanks, again. It worked very well. I am now trying to get everything re - setup.

Yea, keep the cable connected throughout the whole process. And it depends on your PC how long it'll take.
