The Bionic didn't like this update it went down kicking and fighting. Murphy joined my team on this one. Got an install error when updating to 7.5 (adb apparently was still running). Fixed that and reboot. Had to manually go AP Fastboot, RDS flashed way too fast, actually didn't complete. Reinstalled RDS 5.7.

The only thing I had to do was put in AP Fastboot mode manually when the time came.

Yea, that happened on mine, too. For whatever reason moto-fastboot wasn't able to reboot it.

Me to, had to put it in Fastboot manually, wasn't even going to mention it but seeing that others have.......

If only there were some kind of....warning, or post, given about trying to install with RSD 6.14 maybe that situation could have been prevented somehow.

First order of business...back **** up. TiBu or Rom Toolbox Pro for apps, then bootstrap recovery to nandroid.

That will be my first order of business after I get some sleep...been a long night.

Hey Sam. I have always done all my updates from Linux, but I was thinking of giving HOB a try just to see how it works. One question I have is I have obviously looked through all the HOB and HOB FAQ page. Do you have a section that shows what the screen prompts are going to be and how to answer them? I'm not to worried about needing them, but I never saw it and was wondering if that was causing some of the confusion I keep seeing people have on here.

Okay, here's the deal. .905 to .246 last Friday. Had horrid battery life all weekend so yesterday decided to FDR (I had cleared cache during upgrade to .246) to see if that made any difference. So far that doesn't seem to have made much difference with the battery, but maybe it's too early to tell. The other problem that has cropped up is that i no longer have 4G. I'm pretty sure that I had it off and on in between .246 and the FDR, but certainly have never had it after the FDR. Any suggestions?

Yea, that happened on mine, too. For whatever reason moto-fastboot wasn't able to reboot it. I use quickboot to do it for me when that happens. I may have to put the adb reboot back in there but then that doesn't work for a whole other group of people. I can't win.

I too had to manually shut down and re-boot into AP Fastboot. However...The HoB prompts warned me of this and made it so I didn't poop my pants when things didn't go quite as planned. I also didn't have to come running to the forums to PM you or sound off on here..

I know. I'm just giving you a hard time. You've no idea how many people failed to read my warning about 6.14 or told me that it worked for 246 and therefore they thought it'd be fine to ignore my warning, and then bricked themselves trying to install 247. I honestly wish I had never put out 6.14 as it completely and totally causes more problems than its worth.
