Right but you said you didn't have access to a windows machine very easily. That's why I asked what your plan was. (Sorry about your RL issues...I hope things improve). I may have the script done by tonight but, I don't want you testing it. That's not meant to be offensive. I can't test it myself and I don't want someone who isn't familiar with my work to be the one testing it since I seriously doubt I'll get it right the first time. (I'm good, but, not that good).

It wasn't a big deal for me last evening either and, since it seems to be somewhat "normal" and is mentioned at the top of the page in HoB at that point, I just did it manually after a minute or two of no response.
It seems I've had to manually enter AP Fast Boot every other time I've used HoB--can't tell you which version was when; there have been so many:biggrin:.

Well I must say I have never used the HOB. I have always done it from abd and with my own methods. However when 247 came out I decided to give it a shot to see just how "DIFFICULT" it really is. NOT!!!!
Just finished pretty freaking easy only hickup it had was it wouldn't reboot the phone into AP Fastboot from the script. So I just left it on <waiting for device> while I manually rebooted it, and it picked it up and wen ton no problem. I don't trust RSD to reboot into fastboot, either. Hence why I put in the step to do so.

Ive lurked around here for quite some time and in particular watching this thread.
I decided to enter the HoB this morning to finally take the plunge into that tasty desert ICS.
As of this moment I am still waiting for "upgrading Media database' to complete as its taking a real long time.
Is this normal??
